Daniels's corpsing to a degree not seen since Los Peligro Abejas--amazing.

I like them, too. I think both Taven and O'Ryan could be world champions, eventually.monster mafia wrote:

Makes you appreciate Adam Cole too. He and Maria were the saving grace of that group. God, that Taven/Bennett team was the drizzling shits.

I like Taven. I think he's above average in almost all aspects, but not necessarily great at anything.
Bennett was clearly the weakest link in the Kingdom. And his TNA run hasn't been all that impressive either. At least he didn't bomb as hard as Sandow.

Yeah, I used to be a Taven hater. He really started to grow on me right before his injury. I think the guy sells like a mother fucker when he should. One of the better sellers on the roster. His promo skills have improved and quite frankly he carried the commentary team when he was injured. Nigel was either disinterested or Corino was talking out of his ass, Taven was quite funny.famicommander wrote:I like Taven. TK O'Ryan is green but I like his upside. Vinny? Meh.

To me Taven is a real bad wrestler, he bores me to tears. Ok promo at best. Don't want him or any of his clowns remotely close to the World Title. And his commentary was beyond atrocious. I'd have to fast forward any time was at the desk. On PPV I'd have to mute. One of the worst guest commentators I've ever heard.

Re: Official Undisputed Legacy/Honor Reigns Supreme Thread
With regards to the Matt Taven discussion, I'll say the same thing I've said for some time now: I think he's a perfectly fine guy for the mid-card. I've always seen him as a good wrestler, but never someone that I wanted to be pushed beyond the World TV Title/World Tag Team Title level. One of my big fears with this new version of The Kingdom was that it was going to pushed as a main event level stable, but they really haven't been thus far (aside from their win over The Bullet Club in the first round of the Six-Man Tag Team Title Tournament). As long as Taven stays in the mid-card, I've got no issues with him at all.

in my opinion, Bennetts best time in ROH was teaming with Taven. Not the biggest fan of theirs but I thought they were a good team. They showed personality and were charismatic. They had really good matches against teams like Briscoes, Bullet Club, and ReDRagon.

I would agree with that as well. Michael Bennett's best work in ROH was with The Kingdom, and not just the trios matches with Bullet Club that everyone loved. I know it's weird for me to say that, since The Kingdom's run in New Japan was awful, but the Bennett/Taven team was really good in ROH. Part of that is that I think the problems that people have with both of them as individuals were sort of minimized in a tag team setting. A good comparison with that is (oddly enough) Timothy Thatcher. He's become (arguably) the worst part of Evolve in the last year, but when he's in wXw teaming with Ringkampf, he's way more tolerable. Same thing goes for the Bennett/Taven team. I think they were more tolerable as a team than as individuals.

OFICIAL: Jonathan Gresham will be at this weekend's shows. Who will be facing?
Re: Official Undisputed Legacy/Honor Reigns Supreme Thread
Awesome. I haven't had the chance to see Gresham live. Looking forward to it.
Re: Official Undisputed Legacy/Honor Reigns Supreme Thread
It looks like this will be the year ROH sign Gresham, hopefully.

Sign Gresham and put him in a Tag Team with that guy in the TPT if he doesn't win. Woods, I believe.
