If I'm not mistaken they were a tag team back in NOAH so this pairing kinda makes sense.BurningHammer wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 9:39 am A Kenta tag match involving these teams isn't one (just my opinion), especially when Ishimori and Kenta aren't even the natural tag team out of Bullet Club.

They were indeed GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champs in NOAH.Lynx wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 9:41 amIf I'm not mistaken they were a tag team back in NOAH so this pairing kinda makes sense.BurningHammer wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 9:39 am A Kenta tag match involving these teams isn't one (just my opinion), especially when Ishimori and Kenta aren't even the natural tag team out of Bullet Club.

With the placeholder posts out of the way, is it Lakeland again? After MSG, do they stick to the major venues? Is NJPW on board again? What's the AEW effect?
I definitely expect an NXT taping on the closing Wednesday at Full Sail since Orlando isn't too far away.

Damn right!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think its a stretch to think he'd have matches like he had in roh in 2005-2009 in WWE.supersonic wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 7:05 pmYour list pretty much goes with the consensus of every reviewer or other influential tastemaker, so don’t worry too much about message boarders. The issue was never his work rate, but he never got momentum in NXT due to injuries and then got the 205 death slot. He needed a fresh start.indyfan wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 12:24 pmOr your standards are too high.AnHonorableMention wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 12:15 pm
I think your standards for great matches are pretty low and I am a massive Kenta fan.
if you did star ratings...what would give each one?
He was plagued with injuries but he still had some great matches. i think calling his run bad isnt fair

Which is a great detail, (I didn't know, what time was this around?) I just think it will be something that is going to be lost on a lot people when it comes to what people enjoy of the current New Japan product. Even more so considering when it has been Ishimori and ELP as a consistent tag team for some time now.Lynx wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 9:41 amIf I'm not mistaken they were a tag team back in NOAH so this pairing kinda makes sense.BurningHammer wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 9:39 am A Kenta tag match involving these teams isn't one (just my opinion), especially when Ishimori and Kenta aren't even the natural tag team out of Bullet Club.
Ticket sales would also suggest the two matches announced aren't what people want, the last matches have moved about 50 tickets. They are going to need two or three more big singles match if they want to sell out, it's what people want regardless if you can't do it.

I can understand it, when you have the singles matches available just in that match and considering it is a super show and when say WrestleCon is offering Bandido vs Shingo you know promotions are delivering high calibre single matches. It's something ROH has really been low on delivering for a long time, Dragon Lee vs Bandido is a perfect example of what can be possible though.monster mafia wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 5:44 am if ospreay, rocky, amazing red vs mexisquad cant move tickets.... im done.
Funnily enough, There has been a bit more movement for tickets today it seems, not a huge amount but floor is close to gone and the further seats are starting to move a bit more which is great news. Just on tickets for the moment, there are is now only upper campanion seating available for the Baltimore show. I really do hope that a huge amount of these tickets have been taken up by fans wanting to go, to see that venue absolutely packed would be great and could really be such a boost for everyone in the company I would imagine, even if it is a free show. Even as a fan I am looking forward to it, to seeing close to full as possible.
Re: Supercard Weekend in Tampa Bay (WM36 on 4/5/2020)
I think another factor in ticket sales is the fact that Lakeland is an hour away from the main area where everything else is happening with no kind of announcement of transportation to and from like they had in Orlando.
Re: Supercard Weekend in Tampa Bay (WM36 on 4/5/2020)
Wow.... Another fresh - banger...
In some ways i agree about the epic singles matches, but at the same time.... Like Mexisquad vs. Ospeay/Red/Romero is like once in a lifetime. Where as like say Bandido vs. Ospreay would be completely awesome.... like eventually the matchup would get old.... and ROH in particular typically holds off on dream matches to kind of spread them out. I'm sure they have plenty more up their sleeve for Lakeland!! This is looking like the show of the weekend!

Is anyone concerned that these events, including Wrestlemania, will end up being cancelled because of the CoronaVirus?
Re: Supercard Weekend in Tampa Bay (WM36 on 4/5/2020)
Was just thinking this yesterday. I dont know how these dudes will be allowed to fly in and have a huge crowd gather. All of these wrestling shows are going on Hiatus within 2 weeks. The virus is spreading fast and without testing over 100k could have it right now.NewROHFan2020 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 8:23 pm Is anyone concerned that these events, including Wrestlemania, will end up being cancelled because of the CoronaVirus?

I dunno what's gonna happen but I'm living my life as normal. Going to a Colorado Mammoth lacrosse game with 10,000-15,000 other people tonight.
Re: Supercard Weekend in Tampa Bay (WM36 on 4/5/2020)
The WWE has already said they have no plans on cancelling. We'll see if these other shows hold on as well.
Re: Supercard Weekend in Tampa Bay (WM36 on 4/5/2020)
Doesn't matter what WWE says. This virus is everywhere. Just wait and see when Government actually starts testing people. Large gatherings are already being canceled (SXSW,Indian Wells Tennis Tourney)....Soon the NBA will be playing in empty arenas. This will only get worse.
