Hopefully with enough suggestions we can compile a top 100 list.

Re: Best house/B shows in ROH history?
The B-show concept didn't really come into account until summer 2005, which not coincidentally is when the company first booked having 4+ events in a single calendar month. So keep that in mind.
On my stickied revisit, I've taken an extended intentional break after one of the mother of all A+ shows, that being Glory By Honor V Night 2. So keep that in mind with my list.
The candidates would be:
Tag Wars 2006
Dissension
Weekend of Champions Night 1
Chi-Town Struggle
These four particular shows wouldn't get the brunt of attention at the time and even looking back now nearly a decade later. They all delivered a variety of quality matches and/or major moments of storyline progression. In particular, Tag Wars 2006 and Chi-Town Struggle, if taken place in the current scene, would be legitimate candidates for Show of the Year in the various awards and polls, thanks to a plethora of under-appreciated ****+ matches and others that came close, plus the peak angle of the company with the CZW invasion.

It probably comes down to the definition of "B" show. Non-New York/Chicago shows? Non-PPV? Non- recurring show event?
Here's a few... a few might not be considered based on the B show criteria.
Northern Navigation... one of if not the first Toronto shows.
Good Times, Great Memories.... COlt Cabana Farewell (Chicago though)
Salvation - Tyler Black vs. Kevin Steen (another Chicago show)
Escape from New York ( Punk vs. Strong)
Steel Cage Warfare 2005 -
Better than our best 2006
Death Before Dishonor 4 (2006)
Unified
Proving Ground 2008
Violent Tendacies
Aries vs. Richards
Socal Showdown
Epic Encounter III
Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies 2
Allied Forces
Rising Above 2012

Thanks guys this is great stuff, your obviously very knowledgeable fans. Believe it or not I have been a fan since day one I just haven't seen every show or even close. I've basically seen most of the important main market shows and a number of shows in between, but there's still a lot of matches/shows I want to see.

Even by your standards some of these aren't B-ShowsMontana wrote:It probably comes down to the definition of "B" show. Non-New York/Chicago shows? Non-PPV? Non- recurring show event?

Those recent Winter Warriors shows qualify as B shows?

Better Than Our Best is the epitome of an A+ show. Sapolsky NEVER booked B-shows when piggybacking on WrestleMania.

Re: Best house/B shows in ROH history?
The definition of B Show that I've always seen thrown around is a show that is the first show of it's weekend and wasn't a big annual show or a show that was special in some way like a PPV, a trip to Japan or the UK (or even, I'd argue, their first trip to Canada). Under this definition, I think the following are good choices:
Breakout
Violent Tendencies
Pick Your Poison
Hate: Chapter 2
Reclamation: Night 1
Also, there were others, but this is all of the research I feel like doing ATM. I'll add to this list later.

Hate: Chapter 2! That show gets crazy overlooked.
