Guess we knew this would get kind of ugly. Again, petty for CMLL, but can't help but think this hurts ROH further. If NJPW, CMLL, and NWA have basically parts way with ROH... what's left??

If ROH hasn't gotten a wake up call yet, by the last few months, i don't know what will. What's sad, is look how much stronger the ROH roster is than Impact/MLW. MLW booking, and Impact's presentation put it on par with ROH at the moment.

NWA is completely irrelevant. They do not matter at all and they do not deserve mention among CMLL or NJPW.

Their studio is pathetic, their roster is pathetic, their leadership is pathetic, they have no TV deal.

If the CMLL schedule was too much for him I can't imagine Rush will consider WWE. CMLL only runs in like 5 towns, and the big stars usually just 2-3. Lots of dates, but still not close to the number of dates WWE guys work to say nothing of the crazy travel.

AEW, obviously, would be a much bigger threat. But if ROH is willing to book all of his relatives on a continuing basis he'll probably stick around.

I'm pretty confident his deal was with CMLL until the end of 2020, and ROH until the end of 2019. It was suspected that he would stay with ROH as long as he's with CMLL. Now that CMLL contract is done, guess it's semi-unknown at this point.... although i have to image ROH would make him and Lee a strong offer.

Whatever happens it's likely a two horse race.

He said he can't handle CMLL's schedule, and WWE is the only company in the world with a crazier schedule

So to me it's either AEW or ROH.

I don't feel bad for Mike... I'm sure they promised him more opportunity, but he's just not going to be a star in WWE, and he wants it to happen overnight. He gets no reaction from the wwe crowd, and doesn't stand out all all. That's what happens if you dont get over, you get pulled from TV. Now he can enjoy his 500K from home, and an occasional job here and there.

There are much, much better wrestlers out there that never won 5 titles in major promotions.

Mike is criminally underrated as both a wrestler and locker room asset. If WWE frees him, he’s an essential get. But then you have to book the guy so he means something. Delirious, Bully and co. have made Cobb and Bandido mean less with time. It’s pathetic.
