I agree. I'm curious how far out these venues were booked. Hopefully prices are lowered to help attract interest.

In the future I'd actually rather not run the three city loop during this weekend. Just hit Chicago. Do the loop earlier in the year.

Scored front row tickets to the upcoming Death Before Dishonor ppv here in Vegas.

ROH didn't put out the right Ticketmaster link so there wasn't much competition for the tickets right when they came out (and there's still plenty front row available, just not the corner spot that I like). They put out a link that the venue had set up, but that one didn't allow presale to get in, only the Ticketmaster link did. So you had to know to go to the event page on Ticketmaster in order to get in. Some people on Twitter were wondering what the deal was. Typical ROH stuff, I guess.

ROH should do a four month hiatus after Final Battle TV tapings, come back hit reset on like WM weekend and get rolling from there. I'm sure they have enough content to put out their best content to entice fans to sub to HonorClub like NJPW on AXS pretty much is just an infomercial for NJPW World.

Yeah the last thing ROH needs is time away from peoples eyes. It just needs to stop fucking up and a have sensible plan for the future.

A brief seasonal break at some point to reset may not be the worst thing. The brand became tainted very quickly and is approaching TNA levels of negativity from the hardcores. 6 weeks of programming featuring 'best of', given the talent that has passed through since 2002, will be unlikely to turn off viewers- especially if it hasn't been widely distributed before.

I do wonder on the setup for a venue this large:

New Orleans has been host to a number of major sporting events over the years, so it’s fitting that the Big Easy will be where the challenger for the ROH World Championship at Final Battle is determined.

The semifinals and finals of a star-studded No. 1 contender tournament takes place at Glory By Honor in New Orleans at UNO Lakefront Arena on Oct. 12.

Tickets for the huge event go on sale next Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 10 a.m. Central for HonorClub members and Friday, Sept. 6 at 10 a.m. Central for the general public.

The winner of the tournament faces the ROH World Champion (currently Matt Taven) in the main event at Final Battle on Dec. 13 at UMBC Event Center in Baltimore.

It had been announced earlier this week that first-round matches of the eight-man tournament will be held at Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas at the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view on Friday, Sept. 27 and Death Before Dishonor Fallout on Saturday, Sept. 28.

The competitors in the tournament will be revealed on ROHWrestling.com this Thursday and Friday.

Don’t miss out on your opportunity to join us live in New Orleans to see who will win the tournament and head to the main event at Final Battle!

Don't forget the show is about a month so not a lot of time to sell tickets

I don't understand the logic here. Why you'd book such a big arena? Even if the business wasn't significantly down?

It's not like New Orleans is a place to sell a lot of tickets to begin with. It's a bad market.

That's clearly the issue if there's 500 people there, nothing else at all.

As for why, I wouldn't be surprised if their current setup was too big for smaller places.

There's that venue where SCOH was in 2014, and the venue WWN used on WM weekend in 2018. While they are out in the burbs they do have small arena space, the setup can fit comfortably in them. There's also a convention center in the main touristy area of the city with various size spaces. Once again poor venue choice and poor research of the market.

The weather is cooling off, but the action in ROH will be hotter than ever in November with the return of three of the company’s most popular signature shows.

ROH presents The Experience on Nov. 2 at Stage AE in Pittsburgh; ROH Unauthorized on Nov. 3 at Express Live! in Columbus, Ohio; and Survival of the Fittest on Nov. 8 at the San Antonio Event Center and Nov. 9 at Gilley’s Dallas.

Tickets for all four events go on sale this coming Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. Eastern for HonorClub members and Friday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. Eastern for the general public.

At The Experience, the fans are in charge. ROH’s most interactive shows gives the people the opportunity to vote for the match-ups and stipulations they want to see.

Unauthorized is the wildest and weirdest show of the year in ROH. Anyone can show up and anything can happen when ROH flips the script for one night only.

Survival of the Fittest is a two-night tournament in which the top stars of ROH battle for a future shot at the ROH World Championship. Past winners include the likes of Marty Scurll, Jay Lethal, Bryan Danielson, Tyler Black, Adam Cole and Roderick Strong.

With a deep and talented roster featuring champions at the top of their game, bonafide superstars and buzzworthy rising stars, ROH is a must-see-live experience. Don’t miss your opportunity to see the best wrestling on the planet up close!

There’s a new date and venue for ROH’s return to San Antonio. The company is pleased to announce that Night 2 of Survival of the Fittest will take place on Sunday, Nov. 10 at the historic Aztec Theatre.

Tickets for the event go on sale this Wednesday, October 2 at 10 a.m. Central for HonorClub members and Friday, October 4 at 10 a.m. Central for the general public.

The show will feature the finals of the Survival of the Fittest tournament, the winner of which will receive a future shot at the ROH World Championship. Past winners of the prestigious tournament include the likes of Marty Scurll, Jay Lethal, Bryan Danielson, Tyler Black, Adam Cole and Roderick Strong.

This will be ROH’s second time at the beautiful Aztec Theatre, which opened in 1926 as one of the most decorative motion picture palaces in the country. Located in the heart of downtown San Antonio, the Aztec Theatre is considered a Meso-American architectural work of art.

From its stunning lobby and mezzanine to the glorious theatre and balcony, the Aztec Theatre is an experience unlike any other. It’s fitting that the theatre should host ROH, a pro wrestling experience unlike any other featuring the best wrestlers on the planet!

Not and oficial confirmation. If you look at NJPW's website, you can see all the Road to New Beginning dates and then Anniversary Tour. There's like 3 random Road To shows, 2 of them on the Korakuen in consecutive days, during the week that ROH has always done the tournament.

So I think there's still a posibility of them doing the tour.
