I can only assume Hangman's not on the TX/OK loop because he's going to be in Tag League.

mafia's got it: the elite / the the elite.
Don't know why I am finding this particular mondegreen to be so wild. Feels like the misheard lyrics would completely change the complexion of their matches, even though they're both essentially the same fight songs.

Great promo about SOTF Night 1 and the contra-programation from WWE NXT.

I think it looks great as well. This part of advertising ROH has been just sort of blah for awhile now. Nice to see them more effort being put into them.Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 7:16 pmYes. A million times better than the generic dreck we used to get.

It's the same axis as things like show names and DVD covers: things you can do outside of the in-ring product to make the product feel memorable. An SOTF cover that just says "without victory there is no survival" (with this same font and coloring on a black background, please!) is going to be a lot more memorable than just a cover with a picture of all of the guys in the tournament.Mr. Mojo Risin wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 8:30 pmI think it looks great as well. Also, I don't know how I haven't mentioned this yet, but I like them going back to OKC. I thought the venue looked really cool, and if I remember correctly, they drew remarkably well (like, 850) for a market they'd never even run anywhere close to before.

Anything that gets them out here in the west more is good by me.
Maybe when this Tribune merger goes through they'll hit Denver. Tribune owns the Fox and CW stations here.

Should be noted they're in a different, potentially bigger venue. I say potentially, because I don't know if they're using the building's arena, or an exhibit hall.Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 7:05 am Also, I don't know how I haven't mentioned this yet, but I like them going back to OKC. Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega have been exchanging Twitter barbs the last week. Could this have something to do with the cruise show?

It would be really cool, but I think it's more likely that they're just putting it out there so that they can use it if they want rather than them having a plan and being locked into the match.famicommander wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 3:22 pm Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega have been exchanging Twitter barbs the last week. Can you imagine how much that would twist Vince's panties? For Chris Jericho, presumably whilst still working for WWE, to wrestle a guy from NJPW at a Ring of Honor show on a cruise that he booked himself?

Very productive day for @MattJackson13 @NickJacksonYB &myself
We might have secured two outstanding mystery guests for 11/17 in San Antonio

I'm irresponsibly speculating that it's the Rock and CM Punk.
Also the return of WCW's Robocop.

I wonder if they'll bring in CMLL Talent for the Texas/OKC shows?

Re: Ring of Honor Events Schedule Thread
They really should. You have to think a guy like Rush or Ultimo Guerrero could draw in some Mexican-American fans.
Re: Ring of Honor Events Schedule Thread
Ultimo Guerrero is so dope.
I know he'd dwarf everyone on the roster but I'd like to see Marco Corleone wrestle in ROH.

I never want to see Alberto in any promotion ever again, let alone ROH
