Overall I thought Dominion was a very good show and gave you so much in every match, bar the opener I can't really say there was a bad match on the card, I think one that really surprised me was the tag gauntlent I really thought that would be a bit oif cluster fuck of just a mess alround but the build towards the final set of teams was very good as was the final match between the 2 teams.

Takahashi and Kushida are fantastic with each other and the feud has been great for both, although Takahashi really has reached another level and has found a real comfort zone with his personality and his connection with the crowd.

As for the main event I probably enjoyed the Wrestle kingdom match more, but both again proved what high level of wrestling is and can be these days. I loved the ending and camera work within those final moments, everyone helped to build the drama very well and Okada's espresssions and movements were fantastic.

I kind of hope Kenny starts to slow down as some of bumps he took were really sever, there was one German Suplex that really concerned me and thought it was just too much for someone to do especially where his career is at. Kenny has painted himself in a corner into a bit of a corner with his attitude of being such an incredible athlete and making himself look a premier wrestler but Omega really should have longevity in career.

I know it won't happen, but the internet would explode if Cody Rhodes wins both the ROH World Title and IWGP Heavyweight Title in the span of about a week. There would be so many glorious meltdowns.

There's no way in hell Cody beats Okada.

He may beat Daniels though.

What's interesting is that Cody has started to take some independent bookings in early August, which is right in the middle of G1. I know he had announced that he would be in the tournament back in April, but these new bookings were just announced recently. This might be a sign that he won't be in the G1, and there's no chance in hell that the IWGP Heavyweight Champion misses the G1, so in that case, he probably won't win, but who knows....

I never seriously considered that Cody would win the IWGP title, I was just saying that it would be amusing to read the forums if he did. Can you imagine the meltdowns if Cody Rhodes of all people held the ROH and IWGP titles simultaneously?

As much as I love Naito and think he is the overall best wrestler in the company, I think Gedo is going to keep him shackled to the IC title.

I'm not one who tries to grade the announcers or even more retardedly grade the matches but JR did struggle.

JR doesn't really know the talent very well.

I also saw him call Evil Bushi.

Josh Barnett corrected him a few times.

I'm a JR fan so I ain't hating.

I didn't bring it up.

Kinda had low expectations of Okada/Cody. It was much better than I expected. Not up with his other marquee title defenses, but still fairly good.

Match of the night: Naito vs. Ishii. I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks, Naito is the best guy in NJPW right now. Although ZSJ is just awesome to watch.

Funniest moment of the night: Red Shoes crotch chopping The Elite.

Prediction: ZSJ wins.

Good show. I recommend it. You can skip past the multi-tag matches and not miss anything.

Overall card for night two isn't very appealing with all the tags and Tanahashi is U.S. mode vs. Billy Gunn. But the tournament matches seem very intriguing. Sabre vs. Ishii should be phenomenal and I have high expectations for Omega vs. Lethal. Then whichever combination is in the final should be fantastic. Sabre vs. Omega, Sabre vs. Lethal, Ishii vs. Omega, Ishii vs. Lethal all sound appealing.

I gotta think they throw Ishii the bone here and he beats Omega. Omega doesn't need the US Title since he's so firmly entrenched in the Main Event, but it'd be a good prize for Ishii since he's such a hard worker, puts incredible effort in his matches, and is one of the most underrated guys in the company.
