did Omega ever come out and say he was returning to New Japan in any place other than the Elite videos on youtube?

I don't remember seeing anyone make a big deal of it anywhere.

Here's hoping Shibata beats Bad Luck Fale and wins his first singles tournament.

Katsuyori Shibata has won the New Japan Cup!

He issued a challenge to Okada, so we're getting Okada vs. Shibata at Sakura Genesis.

I'm not up to date on my NJPW history. Has the cup winner ever walked away with the IWGP title from this tournament win?

Nagata did in 2008 or 2007 (not sure but know it happened). But more recently Okada and Nakamura did it in the last 5 years. It's how Naito won the title too.

I'm a NJPW fan but I'd rather see Disco Inferno than Shibata.

If you've never seen him then you won't understand.

Yeah, this match should fucking kill, but I don't see them putting the title on Shibata unfortunately.

Man Sweet Daddy....that's about as bad as it gets.

I would rather see the Invisible Man than see Disco Inferno. Glenn Gilberti couldn't draw flies standing over a pile of crap.

There's a really good chance that War Machine makes their PWG debuts as IWGP Tag Champs. That kicks so much ass.
