Pfhahaha. That's brilliant.

IMO Marvel wouldn't even need to use the FF themselves, if they're considered damaged goods. Just get Doom in the MCU. Culminate Phase 5 in Secret Wars.
Mr. Mojo Risin wrote:I wish somehow that they could really delve into Thanos more by telling the stories of The Thanos Quest and the Infinity Gauntlet first before the Infinity War. I know that's totally stretching everything, but it would really explain his character more. It would most likely have to include Adam Warlock which would be fucking awesome.
As cool as that'd be the MCU lacks a lot of the key elements to Thanos Quest (e.g. The Elders). Although I must admit I'd love it if every post-credit stinger before Infinity War Part 1 is Thanos collecting another Stone. By the way:
Spoiler: show
There's a casting call for The Magus in Infinity War, so expect Warlock to show up in Phase 3. Probably in GotG2.
I'm gonna be at the top of the mountain in three years, with or without this belt. I'm gonna be the best that ever lived. And what you don't understand is, even if I don't get that far, at least I had the courage to get off my ass and try.

Some pretty big updates:

- Ant-Man & The Wasp has been announced for July 6th, 2018.

- A few movie dates have been moved around. Black Panther got moved up to February 16th, 2018, while Captain Marvel has been moved back to March 8th, 2019.

- Marvel also announced three untitled film for 2020. To go along with this, there are rumors that FOX have given the film rights for The Fantastic Four back to Marvel, in exchange for allowing FOX to create two X-Men based TV Shows: Hellfire & Legion. If this is true, and Marvel has gotten the film rights to The Fantastic Four, it's feasible that one of those 2020 films could be that.

Looking forward to Black Panther. I just watched Chadwick Boseman play James Brown and he was fucking unbelievable. How he didn't win an Oscar for that performance blows my mind.

I don't think so. Last thing I heard about The Hulk was that there were rumors of him being in Thor: Ragnarök.

Can't freaking wait for Deadpool!!! Glad to see that they're doing right by the character after the disaster that was X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Ryan Reynolds seems to be having a lot of fun and, of course, it's been known for years that he's a big fan of Deadpool, so you know that he wants to do the character the right way. Based on the trailers, this looks like a really good movie.

I know they did surprise screenings in NYC & LA (I think) last week, and the reactions were generally pretty positive.

I think it's pretty good. Hayley Atwell & James D'Arcy are great in their roles of Peggy Carter & Edwin Jarvis, respectively. Also like the fact that, right now, the 2nd Season is playing off the events that have occurred the current season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Saw Deadpool last night, and suffice it to say it lived up to every expectation I had.

Everyone needs to watch this movie!

Deadpoll doesn't belong in this thread as he's part of the X-Men Cinematic Universe. That said, it's a quality alternative to what'll be a very gritty, emotionally grueling Civil War this year.

And no, in terms of alternatives, I don't trust any of the DC films to foot the bill like Deadpool did.

Not really into the Avengers so much. What do you guys think of Guardians of the Galaxy? I saw that movie 3 times when it came out. Really surprised me with how good it was.

I thought it was GREAT! 2014 was a great year for the MCU since it produced easily two of my favorite MCU movies thus far (Winter Soldier & GOTG).

As far as Civil War goes, it's already been said that this will be the longest MCU movie thus far, but I also heard some people say that the pre-screening reactions were very positive, even going as far as to say it's the best MCU movie to date.
