Won't they give him a few scrubs to fight at first? Seems like bad business to hype up his debut then just have him get his ass kicked.

Great for Punk, he's doing what he wants to do. I have no idea how skilled in Brazilian Ju-jitsu he is, but I hope he does well.

Beyond skill, the biggest hindrance I see for Punk is his age.

I'm sorry, but I think the ONLY reason UFC signed him is because they want the publicity. I know he trains in Jiu Jitus and has for awhile, but he has zero mma experience. He should fight at least once on a small show like Lesnar did before signing with ufc. Also unlike Lesnar, he has no special accompishments in any form of mma. Lesnar was a NCAA wrestling champion.

When Punk does fight it will definitely be on ppv to get the wrestling fans to buy. He should be the first fight on the show, not one of the main events.

I never thought I'd see the day where IWA Mid-South & Chris Hero would be mentioned on SportsCenter.

So Ronda Rousey won her fight tonight at UFC 184 in 14 Seconds.

Seriously Question: At this point, can ANYBODY beat her???

I don't think anyone is in her league right now. That arm bar of hers is just wicked.

Ronda Rousey is the best! She is my favorite mma fighter.

Her next fight should be against Bethe Correira so she could end her undefeated record too. Hopefully she fights Cyborg eventually. That would be the "Maywether vs Paquiao" of women's mma.

As much of a Punk fan I am, I have to agree his signing is definitely edging more of a publicity stunt :/
In other news, Jericho will be proud of the different ways that Rousey can apply the arm BAR :D

TJ Dillishaw is awesome! He made Renan Berao(who was at one time one of the best fighters in the world) look like an amateur!

I don't see Dillashaw losing for the foreseeable future. Him and Weidman are gonna be legends when it's all said and done.

Not sure if Cruz will ever come back to his original form after that injury though. :/

Actually, Rob McCarron from Shake Them Ropes (a podcast from the VOW Podcasting Network), has repeatedly said that CM Punk will never fight in the UFC, and has promised to eat his hat if he does (which I think people will actually hold him to that).

If CM Punk fights in the UFC ever. One time. I'll eat my hat.
