XWA returns to the West Warwick Civic Center for Lockdown

Saturday October 25th
100 Factory St
West Warwick RI
Official results from last nights Lock Down event...

AR Fox was victorious over Anthony Stone in a Beyond Wrestling showcase match which was a hot starter.

Anthony Green took the victory in a very entertaining match with Christian Casanova that may or may not have included a "dance off"

Tommaso Ciampa declared he is defending his XWA Championship worldwide and will take on any and all comers - XWA or not!

Brian Fury defeated Jason Blade to become the #1 contender with the outside help of Adam Barisano, who claimed to be Fury's new mentor.

David Starr defeated newcomer Pepper Parks in back and forth action

Kimber Lee defeated Anthony Cortez Haynes in an impromptu match

Shane Strickland victorious over The Amazing Red in high fly action.

The Se7en copycat was discussed and how AJ Styles (the real se7en) was NOT the one behind the Vinny Marseglia attack that has kept him out of action for months. It was revealed that Detective Dan Barry and Detective Bill Carr on now on the case and will be coming to XWA to personally question everyone and get to the bottom of it.

Biff Busick was able to pull out the win over Uhaa Nation in an absolute MOTY contender.

JT Dunn wins the rubber match with Johnny Gargano in a complete wrestling clinic.

Antonio Atama earns the victory in a brutal, vicious cage match that saw the finish with a "Superfly" splash off the top of the cage.

What a night XWA Lock Down was!!

Go to Fight Club Pro running out of Wolverhampton, UK. Very different from any other promotion i've ever seen, As its held in a rock club with a cage keeping the fans apart from the action. Needless to say the cage takes a hammering!

Running a show the the 6th with the American Wolves returning. For £10 you certainly can't complain!

Here's a match from there youtube if anyones interested:

Thank you to the amazing 650+ crowd last night at our 15th Anniversary Xtreme Rumble. Here are the results.....
JT Dunn and Paul London fought to a no finish as both men pinned each other. It was then decided that BOTH men would advance to face Tommaso Ciampa later in the night in a triple threat championship match
The Spirit Squad defeated The Heart Throbs in a fun filled contest
Biff Busick defeated Trevor Lee a brutal, hard hitting match that toured the entire bldg - rafters and all!
Tommaso Ciampa retained his XWA Championship defeating both Paul London and JT Dunn in a heart stopping triple threat match with non stop action. After the match, London took to the mic, thanked everyone and promised to be back as he now calls XWA "home".
AJ Styles defeated Jason Blade in a very emotional action packed contest. Blade gave it his absolute all and Styles acknowledged that Blade forced him to be at his absolute best on this night. Both men with mutual respect to a standing ovation as the ring filled with streamers.
The Xtreme Rumble was jam packed with action, surprises and shock value! It all began with the Juicy Product drawing #1 and 2 and forced to square off. That would soon be interrupted by the 3rd entrant, Carlito! Warbeard Hanson would also share a confrontation with none other than Snitsky! We also saw the Xtreme Rumble debut of WWE's mini JBL, Wee-BL! A great action packed was soon stopped short as Warbeard and The Kingdom were joined by Brutal Bob Evans and long time ROH announcer Bobby Cruise as they brought the event to a sudden halt by attacking every official, commisioner Jose Perez. Cruise would go on to get in the face of the XWA owner stating he and his guys are so much better than this event and they find it insulting and their main goal was to ruin our Anniversary show. Cruise stated "There are a lot more where these guys came from, and I'm taking them all here!" as he culminated by smashing his beer bottle over the head the XWA owner. The final words of the night were "You want a war? You got a war"

decent card although NEW shows usually tend to be less than the sum of the parts, if you will. plus meh JBusta and crappy Jym Anderson make it easy for me to decide to go to Brooklyn for FBW instead.

I went to ICW in the Queens Elk Lodge in NYC last friday. Good crowd, I'd probably say about 250-300 or so. It was as indie as it gets. Xavier was there (I wanted to get a "One more match" chant going...no one would join), Deranged from Special K was there, Amazing Red & Brian XL were there. It was like an early year ROH reunion. Samoa Joe wrestled, which was the main attraction. The night ended with a 30 man rumble where the wrestler had to announce their own name before entering the ring and sandman cracked everyone over the head with his kendo stick.

Ahh yes, that didn't happen because of the weather. It had snowed before/during the show, causing the roads to be messy. For safety reasons, the ended the show a bit early, and Tremont & Dreamer ended up in the 30 man rumble.
