Starts talking about wanting the World title. Kingdom interrupts and surround the ring since Marty now has no back up. Scurll says he has made some new friends. Lights out: Brody King is in ring, lights out: PCO in the ring. Two teams brawl.
They can't just run out to the ring? Why does everyone have to develop magical powers of teleportation for one night? It's hokey, stupid, and overdone.
CAUSE THEY"R E THE NEW BULLIT CLUB!!11~

Villian Enterprises vs. The Kingdom 6-man World Title Match
Taven gets on the mic and complains that VE hasn't done anything in ROH to deserve a title shot. Tells them to start at the bottom and earn one. Then brings out an undefeated team for them to fight.
Villian Enterprises vs. Cheeseburger/Ryan Nova/Eli Isom
Winners: Villian Enterprises via Moonsault from PCO
So let me get this straight: Matt is running around with his own non-sanctioned belt claiming to be the real ROH World Champion. Management obviously thinks his claim is ridiculous because they haven't even done anything to try to move in the direction of setting up some sort of "unification" match to resolve the issue, like including Taven in their company-booked interview segment of various people who are owed shots at the ROH World Title... then, when management books him to defend his other titles, they have no problem with him and his buddies not only declining to defend the titles but also let them book the #1 contenders against someone else instead?

It was at the ECW arena you have to do the lights out gimmick there. Wrestling law.

BurningHammer wrote: Sun Dec 16, 2018 2:17 am Thanks for the report Kaz, how did you feel all the new guys came off?, do you feel everyone will work out.

I'm not sure I would have added PCO to Marty's but as it's only going to be for a short period of time it makes sense, it also saves the PCO doing too much for the moment. I do like the match up with the Kingdom, I think there will be some very good tag, three man and single matches in there. Make it bloody and violent and it will work.

The Honor Club exclusive, especially the ending, sounds so much better than reported on twitter, I have always felt heels should stick together no matter their allegiances. Also the way it ended just feels like all those guys are going to be back, they might not be but they have left open enough too I guess.

My only problems are still using Sumi, Putting Sabin in a world title challenge match and the same going for Bruiser in a TV title match. Everything else sounds fresh or at least interesting too me, I'm glad they are still focusing on King for the World title too, I don't know why but I think we could see Castle taken out for a while, after or before his world title match, just to write out so he heal up and come back at G1 Supercard.

I think in many ways the TV tapings in January will say more about where ROH's is going as they've ended a few things here but also started a few more little moves here and there.
For the world title challenge thing, all 4 men have earned world title shots (Flip Gordon through Sea of Honor, Scurll through Survival of the Fittest, Sabin through lasting through a Proving Ground Match, and Castle by being the former champion not getting a rematch). Dalton won to get the shot first, which will happen in Charlotte at Honor Reigns Supreme.
Thank you TYFDK, I had completely forgotten about the match in Buffalo my bad, ok so that all makes sense, i'm pretty on board with everything from the TV tapings and it all makes sense, good job.

Was actually wanting say this in defense. That is a huge ECW arena throwback.

I find this defense lacking. By this logic you should do a screwjob finish every time you go Montreal. That's ECW's past, not ROH's, and ECW has been dead for almost eighteen years. The "lights go out" gimmick is dumb. MAYBE you can get away with it when the wrestler in question has magical powers, but ROH is not a promotion in whose universe magical powers exist. ROH shouldn't be doing things just because ECW did them. Don't be ECW, be yourself.

Oh, and I love how Bully Ray, who Joe Koff had recently warned would be fired if he ever hit someone with a Kendo Stick again, PULLED A FAN OVER THE BARRICADE AND THREATENED TO POWERBOMB HER THROUGH A TABLE... and here he just shows up at the TV tapings and is allowed to come out, having suffered no consequences whatsoever.

No no no. The 2300 just has very convenient power outages. They can afford all those renovations but they can’t afford good electricity.

It will probably be because they went to break after that on the tv episode or it was the end of a TV episode, it will work on TV but for a live audience it's obviously lacking.

That makes sense. I am hoping to see a Los ingobernables vs Kingdom feud in ROH over the six man titles.

Yeah that's what I was thinking was going to happen, that as well as RUSH vs Taven in Miami.

There is the question though wiith RUSH being so motivated by MLW, as he's being made the face of the comapny it might have changed plans and ROH might not be moving forward with it as previously planned. I guess we will know more at the Florida tapings.
