Alright, fair enough. Googling the name didn't help at all so I was quite confused.
However, this was the first I had heard of this particular incident. If it was something that was actually meant to be somewhat of a big deal, then how footage of it wasn't shown in video packages is beyond me.
But yeah, exactly that. It just seems to be another insanely obscure tidbit to add to the pile at this point.

If monster mafia is begging for this fucking angle to end, then you know it's just agonizingly painful for anyone at this point.

Finally, what we've all asked for, some KoЯn and some Todd McFarlane in our Ring of Honor.

Boy howdy, is that an unseemly image. I instinctively almost exited my browser upon looking at that tormented thing. For a few moments, I thought some of the PWInsider advertisements had cross-pollinated onto this board and had begun to post due to its own autonomy.

Just imagine trying to explain this feud to someone new to ROH. It would take you back years.

Watching ROH on SBG. I think this EVIL angle is a sort of fanfiction/creepypasta exquisite corpse. This has to be the worst (best) thing ROH has ever done.

Below is a transcript of Kelly, Sullivan, and Corino commentating over Martinez vs. Cheesburger:
Kevin Sullivan: Hello, Mr. Kelly.

Kevin Kelly: Mr. Sullivan.

KS: And hello, Booza Loocan.

Steve Corino: Father, I just need to know why the haze after 33 years did not come from the ocean, but he came from the darkness and you gave him to BJ Whitmer. I just need to know why. I get it, I told you before. When you impaled me with the golden spike I understood. But I don't know why. Why?

KS: You never understood. You're always a recalcitrant child (sic). You always wanted your own way. You always wanted to circumvent evil. Know where you come from! You--keep your mouth shut! I should've told you that thirty years ago. Keep your mouth shut! Do you understand? I had to pull out your fingernails. You were a relcalciant (sic) child and you still are. You're still jealous. And accept who you are, Loocan.

SC: I did everything that you and Uncle Mark taught me! I stepped on the dream . . .

KS: Everybody else's problems. . . .

SC: But I changed. I have a family. You made me leave my wife and child!

KK: Shotei!

SC: And you still--you still gave him! It's always him--always him! I thought I had him eliminated! Why him?

KS: Why him? This is what he brought me: the reincarnation of the purple haze himself. LOOK AT THE SIZE!

KK: Oh!

KS: LOOK AT THE SIZE! Oh my. Oh, oh, oh. And don't bring up that incident with him in Australia.

KK: Three! Three, it is over.

SC: These people need to know--I need to know why.

KS: You know why. You know why.

SC: I am who I am!

KS: You aren't who are: accept who you are.

SC: I am Steve Corino.

KS: You are not Steve Corinu (sic). You are Moocan, my son. Look at this, this is destruction.

KK: Boozer Moocan?

SC: No. . . .

KK: What is . . . Who is . . . What is . . .

KS: That is his name, Boocah Loocan.

KK: Hey, wait a minute. What is he talking about? Steve. Look at this! Look at the destruction!

KS: Why don't you do something? Why don't you do something, Loocan?

KK: Wait a minute!

KS: Show me! Show me what you have.

KK: Oh no! Punishment Martinez destroyed Cheeseburger and he does the same to his friend Will Ferrara.

KS: Show me what you have.
Will this ever actually end?

Did this feud really need old man Sullivan and all this goofy shit that was already beyond awful in 95 ?

I didn’t mention it—because I didn’t want to write another overlong, baleful transcript—but there was a BJ Whitmer promo after the return from commercial break. Pretty predictable by now, more abstruse babble.

Though I’m having fun at points of this story, I’m very much spoiled on the older wrestlers involved. I get that Corino prefers to really hold direction of the angles he’s working in (see: Corino vs. Whitmer, EVIL in 2013, his rehabilitation angle, Corino brawling with Homicide, Corino starting his beef with The Prophecy) and that finding one’s own analogue of the #BROKEN Hardy saga might seem like a good idea, but I can’t say that what Whitmer and Corino are doing is anything but selfish and indulgent at this point. For an angle that has been around for over three years, the fact that it has put nobody over is pathetic.

Think of how bonkers and reverse it is to have Sullivan on your television program doing this rambling, lost Templar sadist shtick. Think of how many television segments they’ve dedicated to Whitmer and Corino. Think of the total matches they’ve had since this has all started. Think of how many payoffs there were. It’s awful that they’ve been allowed to do this as long as they have and that they are still putting themselves as the foremost characters in this story. At times I still enjoy this program and I still think Whitmer has value in the company, but, like, fuck these guys for doing all this. They should know better.

I think ultimately, Martinez and whomever he feuds with will fare well out of this. To be fair, both Corino and Whitmer are the only ones that seem to have any sort of "heat". Whitmer might be the only guy that ROH fans out and out hate. No matter how much of a heel Silas Young is or Adam Cole is, they ultimately get cheered. Whitmer has the rare heel heat that very few veterans in ROH have while Corino got the biggest pop of the night at Best in the World and seemed to get a lot of buzz when he returned to commentary.

The investment of time just doesn’t balance out. Three years. It’s been said many times, but imagine the difference it would make to instead consistently have segments for ACH or Page or Young or the Women of Honor division. And Corino in general puts way too much emphasis on himself, he always has and it's quite a problem now.

Monster gimmicks are wont to not do very well once they’ve had their comeuppance. As things lie, Punishment Martinez is essentially a Dungeon of Doom villain. Unless he is very good, he can easily go the way of how those workers did, just without the pay.

We agree that Whitmer has been doing well. He should be putting over younger talents and transition into becoming a manager.

Not that I don't 100% agree with you here, but the thing that annoys me the most about it is that Delirious or whoever had a choice: either let the advertised blow-off many years in the making be the blow-off... or do a f*ck finish on an ROH PPV and then try to do 1982 Florida Kevin Sullivan, complete with bullsh*t rambling, in 2016 ROH... and he chose the latter.

Sullivan is definitely a puzzling addition to this never-ending feud. No one in the world can possibly care about this mystical garbage and... whatever is happening at this point.

Just do the Corino/Whitmer blow-off at BITW and have Corino win clean, let Whitmer disappear for a few months, then bring him back with Martinez to destroy Corino who can then bring Colby back or another babyface you wanna push.
