A joke, a rib, or some grand tribute to budget cinema in the vein of Ed Wood, Mike Kuchar, and John Waters.

Or it's Johnston banding people together that he has no other idea how to use.

I have to say that I don't mind the team of Whitmer and Martinez. Is it ideal for Punisher? Of course not. I'd rather see him team with anyone else. But it gives Martinez a shot on the roster, it keeps Whitmer from singles, and it adds to the Tag Division. I have a problem with adding stupid crap like Kevin Sullivan. It's 2016. No one gives a god damn about Kevin Sullivan. And I haven't even cared enough to watch any of those videos ROH did about Hendrix, and I'd have to assume a majority of ROH fans are the same. If it was just Whitmer and Martinez doing gothic stuff like now, I wouldn't have a real problem to it. Making it bigger than it needs to be and adding unnecessary garbage like Sullivan and Hendrix is what I don't like.

Side, but related note, Punishment is now heavily featured in the opening package.

You want to throw a female into the mix of the storyline, and use said female to "pick on" sweet Mandy Leon....ok, cool I get it...why wouldn't you use Klein in that role?

Much more believable in terms of overpowering female.

And Martinez, this is your first real shot here...you can't come up with anything other than an Undertaker rip off with rolling your eyes in the back of your head?

Corino is gone, so now they move on to Mandy?

This HAS to be a joke.
Never mind that Klein would be much more natural because of her already established relationship with Whitmer.

Oh yeah, wasn't even thinking about that aspect. Very true.

Is it me or has Whitmer gone from having to nuclear heat...to apathy? The longer this goes on the less anyone gives a shit. Martinez gets zero reaction. Sullivan has meandering promos no one gives a fuck about in this day and age.

Whitmer did have so much heat it was unreal. Sullivan and all his psycho babble is filler, and definitely not needed. He could be the silent figure head to the story fine, but would someone please just shut him the hell up.

This is not an endorsement of this angle, but Hendrix is way more over than Klein. She's a very good heel, was awesome in the No DQ match against Mandy. I just can't see Kelly fitting into that mess (even with an off-screen relationship to Whitmer). I also wouldn't blame her if she nixed the chance given what her current gimmick is.

I agree that Hendrix is a good heel.....very good in fact. I just think its odd that she goes from playing off of sex appeal, to all of the sudden she is part of this cult or whatever the hell they are.....

Also, I don't see Hendrix as some type of "intimidating" female force. Klein fits MUCH better in that role, IMO.

If you truly love someone, you wouldn't put them in a storyline with Kevin Sullivan in 2016.

It's not just you. I honestly cannot remember another instance of a heel cooling off this severely this quickly.
