Nigel came out and apparently said, “Shit just got real.This is the start of the war.” Basically saying they are still standing and that they still believe in this company. He also announces for the ROH World Title: Adam Cole vs Kevin Steen. They also announced the Cole vs Hardy match where the winner will face Taven for the TV title at the iPPV Supercard of Honor. It was also mentioned by our correspondent that it seems like many people could be getting chances to fight for the title for Supercard of Honor including Jay Lethal and BJ Whitmer and some other names. Michael Elgin vs Jay Lethal was also signed but not sure of when.

I just asked our guy about the Jay Briscoe vs Steen thing. We did mention in our report that many names were mentioned as possible for the title match at SCoH including Jay Lethal and BJ Whitmer. Perhaps they got the wrong Jay.

This is what I got for Jay Briscoe vs Steen: Nigel said he was considering it, but didnt hear if it was official but he was listed in the names mentioned but not likely given he's not wrestling tonight.

That also makes sense since if he's not wrestling, why would he even get a title shot with no build to one of their biggest shows of the year?

It was kind of looking that way. It's unfortunate. They removed chairs from the hard cam side, so hopefully that will make it look better.

Hoopla time with new ROH TV Champ Matt Taven, Scarlette and Val Malone. Truth Martini says Matt Taven is more important than Kevin Steen. Matt Taven then “whipped it out” (the title) and then the girls took off their pants. (Cruise said ROH had no idea that would happen, and apologized.)

Val Malone is great as is Scarlette. Just a FYI, you can see more of them in AAW in Chicago and Malone is Silas Young's wife so it made sense to make her a part of this.
