My picks:

-O'Reilly beats Mondo after Bennett's interference.
-Strong beats Cide - clean.
-Cole beats Thomas - clean.
-Marsha... just kidding, Lethal - clean.
-Rhino beats Elgin after Steen's interference .
-Richards - in count-out after Mondo kissing Maria again.

And in the finals:

- Rhino by Cole - to give Cole big win.
- Lethal by Richards - to make there match at GBH relevant.
- Richards by O'Reilly - with roll-up right after Richards pinning Lethal.
- Strong by Cole.
- Cole by O'Reilly.

Winner: O'Reilly.

We just need a commentator who doesn't moan when a chair gets thrown in the ring.

The booking already sounds pretty brutal.

So after the lengthy Rhett Titus VS WGTT feud, the best he can do is still just get a fluke roll-up? He can't beat either of them cleanly? What good does it do him? Then WGTT squash him immediately after to get their heat back, rendering the whole thing completely pointless.

Davey Richards has to have a distraction to beat Mike Bennett? The "Best In The World" has trouble beating a midcarder?

QT Marshall getting even more of a push? After that huge Ciampa VS QT twitter feud, ROH is pretty spineless to job Ciampa out like that to a guy clearly the fans just don't care for. He's AWFUL; Get over your erection for him already Cornette.

So not only does Mondo beat O'Reilly clean, he SUBMITS the known Jiu-Jitsu student O'Reilly, and fucks up the submission.

Serious question, are they trying to be a joke now?

Umm, not beating them cleanly would be if someone interfered of they cheated. Last time I checked there was no reason a schoolboy doesn't 'count' as beating someone. Besides, BJ did it, not Rhett, and I don't think BJ's had a win since his return, so any victory is a good one for him rather than his tenth loss in a row. And a post match beatdown by the heels happens all the time when they lose. It does establish the new team of BJ and Rhett as viable and capable of beating WGTT and that it's not the end of the feud. How is that pointless? Were you expecting the blow off to the feud by Titus and BJ leaving WGTT in a pool of their own blood the first time they team? WGTT defeating Titus and his new partner showing how ineffective they are? DDQ or double countout to show they're evenly matched? There are only so many outcomes possible. Any that result in a WGTT loss sit well with me.

(BTW, I actually would have enjoyed WGTT being sent packing drenched in their own blood since they bore the hell out of me, but that wasn't going to happen so I can't be disappointed in that sense.)

Mondo's interference was to further his feud with Bennett, not that Davey needed the help, unless he was in some sort of submission hold and needed Mondo to save him. If that was what happened that would have been the height of stupidity. I do agree I'd preferred Davey to win cleanly, though, to keep it from appearing exactly as you said. I wonder if Davey will mention this in his upcoming match with Mondo. That wouldn't be a bad idea, having Mondo making Davey appear weak pissing him off and really working him over. Though I think I'm giving booking too much credit there. It's almost certainly the poorly timed idea it appears.

(Besides, I thought Bennett was everyone's golden boy now that he did such a wonderful job in the Chikara Trios tournament. :D )

Unless QT gets an injection of Ric Flair genes, I can't see him magically getting well enough for this sort or push. Unless Ciampa is good enough to carry him to an average match. At least Ciampa should beat the crap out of him in their feud, and I don't think he has beaten a non-jobber in 6 months. And Ciampa will finally get a direction he badly needs, though against anyone else on the roster would be better. Maybe they'll get QT a tag partner to cover up his crapiness for at least part of a match.

And I hate Mondo going over O'Reilly was well. The only way that should have happened was Bennett attacking Mondo and getting O'Reilly DQ'd or some such. No way should Mondo be pushed over O'Reilly. And I'm not even a Mondo hater. *grumble grumble*

Someone tell Corny it's not the horrible outfits that made the Bangers horrible in the ring. Maybe FDS at least looked good... nah, we can't be that lucky. Maybe one of them will get injured and then they'll disappear back into the obscurity they deserve.

Oh goody, Mondo was the first eliminated. Thank god for small favors....
