The card is shaping up pretty nicely the last few days. No surprise on STP vs. Mexasquad. Should be a pretty solid match.

Next i think we are going to hear about who Gresham will be facing for the Pure Title... .gotta think it's the winner of Williams vs. John Walters from ROH TV.

I don't really understand the logic of doing 4-way for TV title shot on the same show. Why should Dragon Lee get such an advantage?

I agree. Only thing I can think is Dragon Lee retains and they want to protect the challenger by giving him a win and an out for the title match loss.

If Lee is staying I’m guessing this is more to try and continue to help someone like Giovanni/Woods or to say Deppen to the ROH audience is someone to really take notice of. If whoever it is and Lee has a great match winning or loosing it’s done it’s job. Plus Lee has another notch of a win on his title reign. You can then build the challenger further, plus Lee can start building with someone after Final Battle.

Whoever gets the win in a grueling match.....then Dragon Lee the heel comes right out. No break. Lee wins but the 4 way winner shows great heart. Solves 2 things.

PJ Black is injured, the Aussies aren't even listed on the roster page anymore. You gotta figure the UK talent won't be there. Not sure if Alex Shelley is still doing the free agent thing or if he's settling somewhere. Rocky Romero has been popping up a lot of places lately, was recently at the Pure tournament.

Would be good storyline that they try to force Mark/PCO to wrestle pure rules but they refuse and we get crazy brawl. the PCOsault broke Jay's arm a year ago...built in storyline.

Lethal and Gresham vs PCO and Mark Briscoe sounds so bad. The company is already being laughed at by wrestling fans.

Same for Flip vs Gresham.

Some fans who are on the fence to even give this show a chance just jumped off.

I felt like there was a missed opportunity on commentary by not talking about Flips history in MMA. He's had several fights and that could have been used to add legitimacy to him getting a title shot at Final Battle. I'm hoping Woods wins and they switch him and Flips spots in matches at Final Battle. Flip going for the tv title and Woods for the Pure title just makes so much more sense.

Feels more of a transitional PPV, like what a B show should be for ROH. It's mainly to get names on the card and set things in motion than to be a Final Battle of sorts. As Rovert said it feels more like for tradition rather than anything and I can get that. We also still have to think about the circumstances that ROH is still learning in the Pandemic era

I'm guessing the the Pure rules tag match will be on the pre-show and it will be Tracey Williams/Rhett vs say Yuta and Delirious, maybe Cheeseburger.

My main wish is that every retains their titles and put's on a series of good to great matches, without any mess ups, and the introduction of the new LFI member really hits. If all that happens ROH can move onto January in a pretty healthy position and hopefully hit the ground running. This weeks tapings will be really interesting.

I think we also have to into account that Woods although he has come into his own this year, he still needs time and maybe a singles match against Gresham on PPV feels too much where as Flip has some tenure and trust. Not agreeing with it, sometimes though it's just more than story that makes booking decisions.

it would make more sense woods vs gresham for the pure tittle but anyway...can blame roh for nothing, they are tryng to make a final battle card in this year and thats valuable.
