Re: 18th Anniversary Official Thread
So was Doug.
Re: 18th Anniversary Official Thread
Doug went less than 9 months of being retired, and is currently already wrestling in 2020.
Brent Albright has not wrestled a match in over 8 years.

Re: 18th Anniversary Official Thread
John Walters/RJ Brewer back for the first time since 2006. That's a deep cut.
Also saw Rocky Romero comment on the Pure Title on Twitter. Put that man in the tournament.
The world can always use more Rocky Romero matches.

Wow... I like this new ROH... where let's not holding anything back. This looks to be quite a banger.

If fences could be mended with London, who remaining would be best? Looks like Tracy to me.

Re: 18th Anniversary Official Thread
Why would you sign a guy who hasn’t wrestled in years?

then why even bring him in at all? He was great when he was in ROH. You think just forgot everything?AnHonorableMention wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 9:46 amWhy would you sign a guy who hasn’t wrestled in years?

Maff never stopped wrestling. Rust is one thing but when you leave wrestling because you never got over it’s hard to imagine any logic behind being away that long and automatically earning yourself a contract.indyfan wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 11:45 amthen why even bring him in at all? Too many guys working their asses off every week who earn the spot, before some guy who was hardly over in 2005. Always a solid wrestler but no personality or drawing power that means you go out of your way to sign the guy.

He was over in 2004. Not over like Punk or Joe but he was over.AnHonorableMention wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 12:13 pmMaff never stopped wrestling. He was not over at all. That's why they stuck him in Embassy. He needed something to get him going. Never found himself. The RJ Brewer thing was meh too but never really got the chance to be explored with the right light. 2013 was 7 years ago.
