The NCAA tournaments are several thousand people attending hundreds of games. A bit different than ~1000 ROH fans per show over a single weekend.
Maybe you missed the news today. They’re banning fans from the NCAA tournament. The conference tournaments are starting to do the same.

A guest at the Mirage was found to have the corona virus. That’s why MGM properties are shutting down their buffets.
No, I saw the news. I was pointing out that the NCAA Tournaments are orders of magnitude bigger than ROH events, which accounts for why the NCAA made such a blanket decision while ROH is proceeding as normal for now.
Yes that is true. However, it might not be up to ROH, as 48 hours ago. Basketball tournaments and soccer leagues weren’t postponing matches or banning fans.

The state of Ohio come out and said they were banning fans before the NCAA could. Nevada could come and shut it off. Hopefully not, but I wouldn’t bet money on fans being there.

Yeah, these shows seem like they're going to happen.

I'm wondering, though, if Bandido got out of Europe okay. If he didn't, obviously Bandido vs Dragon Lee isn't going to happen.

Shows are a go as of 15 minutes ago when I talked to one member of the active roster and one being used on Saturdays event. Both shows look great, hopefully a lively crowd for both and they don't feel like the norm.

No surprise. Once the NBA canceled everyone else has to follow. Until there is a vaccine pretty much everything will continue to be canceled or postponed.

Dear ROH Family,

After much consideration and consultation with local officials regarding COVID-19, ROH has decided to cancel this weekend’s 18th Anniversary (Friday, March 13th) and Past vs Present (Saturday, March 14th) shows at Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas.

This extremely difficult decision was made in conjunction with the most recent developments surrounding COVID-19, known as the Coronavirus.

While the marquee "18th Anniversary" and the very special "Past v Present" events were ready to show the world why Ring of Honor is truly the "Best Professional Wrestling on the Planet," the safety and health of our fans, talents and staff are always our utmost priority.

Additional Information will be provided as soon as possible regarding refunds and potential rescheduling of the events that were set to transpire this weekend.

Once again, thank you for understanding and we truly appreciate your continued patronage and support.

Theoretically instead of flying talents across country at 5am today they could have made this decision last night.

It's a tough decision but seems like the right one. I have to wonder if it would make sense to have the shows run in an empty arena. They already flew everyone out there apparently. Sucks for the Las Vegas fans, but they could still run the shows on HonorClub and FITE.tv. I imagine it will be tough to reschedule and fit these shows in. I know they'll figure it out.

I guess the good news is there really wasn't any major storylines heading into this.

It was because they were given the ok last night and because of everything this morning/afternoon it changed.

Yeah I get that, but a lot of companies were canceling last night. Should have tried to hold it without fans if they flew them out there

It changed but talent also knew the odds of cancellation were extremely high. Lack of communication between upper management and talent is a big issue.
