Who didn't see this coming? NJPW had the luxury for years of getting their talent over at the expense of the ROH wrestlers. As a business decision NJPW look like geniuses. The MSG debacle with Enzo and Cass was a perfect way for them to bail out. One has to wonder also if the rise of AEW played a part in their decision. Even if relations between Kenny Omega and NJPW are strained at the moment, a future Elite/Bullet Club angle like someone else suggested, would make more money than with anyone on the ROH roster at the moment.

Now that Rush and Dragon Lee have been fired from CMLL, does anyone know if this will affect their relationship moving forward?

I'd guess too soon to tell. RUSH does not want to work NJPW and Lee is always welcome there.

Hopefully Koff and the ROH apologists of the past 5 years will listen to the historians and tastemakers from now on. Those with a clue saw this coming for years and knew ROH was leaning too heavily on dynamics that they wouldn’t have around forever.
