Obviously it depends on how this weekend goes, but if GBH gets Marty / Bandido II & Haskins / PCO this show is looking great even with the lame ass Briscoes match.

Weekend went pretty well. It's a shame about Bandido, but Marty / Lethal and Dalton / PCO both sound really good to me. I imagine Marty / PCO is the way to go in the finals although if Marty isn't going to be around I wouldn't be that upset if they go with Jay. But based on the interviews Marty has been doing lately about never being ROH champion, I am thinking we get Rush / Marty still.

Fifteen ROH stars will compete in a battle royal at Glory By Honor in New Orleans on Oct. 12, with the winner receiving a title shot against ROH World Champion RUSH that same night.

So far, the following competitors have been announced for the battle royal:

-- Joe Hendry
-- Silas Young
-- Josh Woods
-- Rhett Titus
-- Beer City Bruiser
-- Brian Milonas
-- Cheeseburger
-- LSG
-- Shaheem Ali

This will be the first title defense for RUSH, who defeated Matt Taven to win the championship at the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view on Sept. 27.

With the way how they push him I wouldn't be surprised if it is Kenny King. Another possibility I think is Taven if he gets announced.

It definitely hurts the level of importance that this show had been feeling. A rematch with Taven would have been a better choice since no one else really make sense right now.

A Taven rematch would've sufficed. Logical too. We now have a number 1 contenders tournament and a number 1 contenders battle royale on the same card. Just highlights the lack of creativity and any direction for the majority of the roster. There's barely any issues to be settled in the promotion. Just coasting and relying on talent to deliver decent matches, which thankfully they will (or have potential to)

It’s been great so far, Woods is really starting to grasp it all. and a long with Joe Hendry it shows ROH can do this sort of thing really well. They just need to do it for everyone and that it will really enable someone like Lifeblood to matter more.

It is ridiculous booking to have a battle royale for a same night title shot on the same show as a tournament semi finals and finals for a title shot. It would’ve been easy enough to have Rush pre-advertised for a tag or four way match, if you wanted to do a battle royale for a one on one, it could’ve been a proving ground match… Pretty much anything but what we got.
