Interesting to note that at this stage in the game, we have no announcement of ROH, NJPW, or RevPro running WrestleMania weekend in Tampa.

MLW has also already bowed out of running a show, and AEW has indicated they will avoid the weekend.

Just got my 9th row Mania ticket in the mail yesterday.

Also landed the VIP ticket to The Collective which includes front row at GCW Jimmy Lloyd's D-Generation F, an unannounced GCW show, GCW Josh Barnett's Bloodsport III, AIW Thunder In Paradise, GCW For The Culture, Pizza Party Wrestling Birthday Bash (Which I'm thinking about missing in favor of another show,) BLP A Threat Level Midnight, GCW Effy's Big Gay Brunch (Which I'll be missing for another show,) Glory Pro 3 p.m. In Tampa, Freedoms, and ACTION/BLP Warhausen's Wrestlevania.

Also have front row tickets to Ethan Page's Body Guy Extravaganza and Wrestling Revolver's Pancakes and Piledrivers IV.

And 2nd row to the Raw after Mania.

And 4th row to GCW Joey Janela's Spring Break 4ever.

And GA to the Florida based GCW shows on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I had a blast last year and intend on having a blast this year

The big one being a bloated 8 hours (which repels away those with kids and casual tag-alongs like significant others, and has also killed watch parties.) Takeover potentially not being on the schedule anymore, which was the closest thing to Better Than Our Best, Supercard of Honor II, etc. nowadays. Lazy promoters doing a bunch of one-off gimmicks rather than building to crescendo events like the all-time classics I just mentioned. Especially lazy promoters that go for the lowest common denominator irony/parody shite for a quick buck, thanks to Janela pulling it off. If they're the slightest bit motivated, they whip up some workrate dream matches that have no long-form personal grudge storyline texture.

Now to top it off, in an attempt to not look like "minor league piggybackers," many of the biggest non-WWE draws are just boycotting? Kiss my thousands of travel dollars away as I spend it on something better like going elsewhere for a big NBA or NFL game, especially postseason.

Well the main show of the big one is only 5ish hours, you don't need to go watch the pre-show if you're feeling like it's already too long. When I took this girl I hadn't seen in 8 years (she was a foreign exchange student in high school and we met up in New Orleans for Mania 34.) to Mania she loved it and she didn't know who anyone not named John Cena was. Actually I remember after Lesnar-Reigns she's like "the show's over already?!"

Takeover Tampa is on the schedule and tickets are already on sale.

There are a few one off gimmick shows. Which can be a lot of fun. But the WWN side of things seems to be more into building up to that big match. Plus I have a feeling Nick Gage-Ricky Shane Page will happen somewhere in The Collective, and that's been building for months.

The only ones boycotting are The Elite and a few other AEW guys. I could care less about seeing The Elite. I will be pretty bummed out if Jon Moxley doesn't have his match with Josh Barnett at Bloodsport 3 that he was supposed to have at Bloodsport 2 before the elbow infection.

I'm not really into NFL or NBA so that sounds pretty meh. Maybe the NCAA Basketball tournament would be cool but it wouldn't touch the fun I'm gonna have WrestleMania week.

New Japan just announced a Lion's Break show that will be taking place at WrestleCon.

Hiroshi Tanahashi, Ren Narita, Karl Fredericks, Clark Connors, and Alex Coughlin have all been confirmed.

So on the New Japan side, we have the announced and unannounced Bullet Club guys for Lakeland (I presume most if not all the Bullet Club guys will be on the show since they're in town).

Then you have guys like Ospreay, Shingo, and the Lion's Break talents who are announced for other shows during the weekend. They could all be added to Lakeland.
