Why Kevin Steen was the best Ring of Honor World Champion in ROH History.

Post by AmericanDestroyer »

Because Kevin Steen had consistently defended the ROH World Championship against the likes of Roderick Strong, El Generico and The Briscoes. My Favorite ROH World Championship Match to date was when Kevin Steen faced El Generico in Ladder War IV at Final Battle 2012.

This isn't how this discussion section works. You have to talk about articles in ROH World. If you want to talk about other things, use The General discussion and create a thread or comment in one of them.

A) It's completely subjective

B) Samoa Joe and Daniel Bryan had better reigns IMO.

When Steen gets inducted into the Observer HOF, his ROH Title reign will be an incredibly small reason, whereas Danielson's reign played a huge part in his induction and unprecedented streak as Best Technical Wrestler. Should Joe get in (which I believe he will but not as quickly), his ROH Title reign will likely be the biggest reason for it. The original Summer of Punk also is far more credible as it served as the greatest farewell tour in pro wrestling history, while setting a prototype for the Summer of Punk sequel that would break down the first major barrier between the mainstream and the underground.
