I doubt we'll see Iizuka or Zack Sabre Jr., both for obvious reasons. Honestly, Taichi is the only guy who I don't want to be on this tour, really. I really like El Desperado, and Taka Michinoku is still capable of putting on very solid matches when he wants to (and I'm sure he'd at least try in this environment).

I sure hope so!
Is AAW running a tournament that weekend?

I wouldn't have minded either to come over, to be honest. Especially TAKA.

Still hoping that we get El Desperado & Kanemaru on these shows.

According to the Observer, Will Ospreay will be on these shows.

He'd fucking want to be. It seems like the only reason ROH signed him was to keep him off of every other US promotions shows, which while in a way is a good idea, Ospreay is in no way enough of a draw to warrant his almost Brock Lesnar like booking he receives. Pops up here and there, has a couple of matches, goes away. Give him something meaningful to do going into Final Battle and if he is signed to the company then make him appear more than once in a blue moon.

I've said it before, but I don't think Ospreay knows that he wants right now. He wants to help the Aussie scene, he wants to elevate the British indies, he wants to work NJPW, he wants to work ROH, he has alternately said he does and doesn't want to go to WWE.

Wonder if they end up selling out the 5,000 seats. Omega has stated that he wants to defend his IWGP US Championship against Will Ospreay. Wonder if Omega vs Ospreay and if they could make it happen Cody vs Austin Aries for the ROH Championship could sell the building out?

It might be a little optimistic, but I think it's possible. Throw in the fact that they'd the Bucks, Briscoes, and Scurll on the card and I think it's possible.

The arena isn't set-up for 5,000, that's a different hall in the building. Their in the smaller hall, one that sits roughly 2,500.

So, If Kenny Omege was announced for all the Global Wars shows. What was the point of making a big deal about him being at the Chicago one? rather than just announcing he'll be at all them originally?

Maybe they didn't know if he was going to appear at the other ones yet.

He wasn't supposed to appear on the entire tour. They were planning to make Global Wars a PPV but probably back tracked because looking at things logistically, they would have had to build the PPV with one TV taping and that TV taping is minus Omega and the rumored SUZUKI-GUN,. Chicago may still be an iPPV though.

I can definitely see Chicago being an iPPV, no way ROH is dumb enough to do another PPV so quick after DBD. Then again the WOTW PPV in 2016 wasn't very far removad from two others and a pretty big SCOH. It didn't have much TV build either...Colt's return wasn't covered on TV for a while after it happened.

HASHI had a fantastic match with Omega at last year's G1 Climax. It makes sense that HASHI is the challenger since they are building a rivalry in NJPW.
