ROH Unauthorized Official Thread
On Friday April 28, Ring of Honor returns to the Turner Hall Ballroom in the Beer City for ROH Unauthorized! All of your favorite ROH stars will be competing in a night where anything can happen. All bouts will be competed under relaxed rules and who knows who may show up or what may happen!
Whereas the ROH Experience in Columbus was the most fan-interactive ROH event to date, the ROH Board of Directors are heading into The Best Wrestling on the Planet’s return to Milwaukee with a hands-off approach with the stars of ROH having a large hand in choosing and signing their bouts! Milwaukee’s best has issued a challenge to the Franchise of ROH and it has been accepted!
Pre Show Match: Stacy Shadows def Sierra.
Silas Young and Beer City Bruiser were the hosts for the night.
1. Motor City Machine Guns def The Kingdom when Chris Sabin pinned Vinny Marseglia.
2. Beer City Bruiser def Shane Taylor, Cheeseburger, and Punishment Martinez when Bruiser pinned Cheeseburger after spitting beer in his face.
3. Adam Cole def Jay White after Hangman Page interfered.
– Cole and Page attacked White after the match but Romantic Touch came out and made the save
4. Hangman Page def The Romantic Touch
5. ROH Six-Man Tag Champions The Briscoes and Bully Ray def Dalton Castle and War Machine in a Milwaukee Street Fight
– War Machine came out dressed as The Boys and Dalton called them Boy Machine. Some details of the match were Hanson went through a table, Dalton was pinned by Mark after a 3-D. Post match,
6. Will Ferrera def Jarrod Jaxx
7. ROH TV Champion Marty Scrull def Delirious
8. ROH Tag Champions The Young Bucks def Legion of Boom (a/k/a Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian).
Before the match, a guy ran down and handed a note to Bruiser that The Addiction had food poisoning. It became an “Open Challenge Match” with Legion of Boom (Daniels and Kaz) accepting the challenge. LOB sang themselves to the ring and the crowd helped. In the ring, they said they wanted to face the Midnight Rockers (The Bucks) for the AWA World Tag Team Championship. This led to a AWA chant. Post match, Daniels and Kaz left, and Kaz took Bruiser’s whiskey and drank it up the ramp.
9. Silas Young def Jay Lethal

Put Cheeseburger in the ring with VInny Lasagna so poor Vinny can learn something.

Re: ROH Unauthorized Official Thread
Marty Scurll vs. Delirious in a non title match has been added.
From ROHWrestling.com
Whereas the ROH Experience in Columbus was the most fan-interactive ROH event to date, the ROH Board of Directors are heading into The Best Wrestling on the Planet’s return to Milwaukee with a hands-off approach with the stars of ROH having a large hand in choosing and signing their bouts! And for the very first time, the current ROH World Television Champion will meet one of the most mysterious ROH stars in history!
NON-TITLE
ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION “THE VILLAIN” MARTY SCURLL vs. DELIRIOUS
With unique movements, mannerisms, and celebratory poses, Marty Scurll has gained quite a following for a man who is a self-professed Villain. But it isn’t difficult to root for a man with the success Scurll has had. Capturing the ROH World Television title in his first weekend with ROH by defeating the “Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay, Scurll has soundly defeated stars like Juice Robinson, Donovan Dijak, Sonjay Dutt, and Lio Rush before earning the biggest win of his career in a successful defense against the only three-time ROH World Champion Adam Cole at Supercard of Honor.
But when the word unique comes up, there is perhaps no more unique star in wrestling than Delirious.
Becoming unglued once the bell rings, Delirious has an array of one-of-a-kind barefoot strikes and submissions. The masked maniac channels energy that only he feels to keep opponents on their toes with grappling that we saw in his bout against Jonathan Gresham in Duluth and hints of rule breaking like his devastating back rakes he deployed against the Young Bucks while tagging with Cheeseburger.
While the ROH World Television title is not on the line, a win for Delirious would surely put him in the title hunt! These two oddly-similar stars will attempt to channel their inner madness in Milwaukee with relaxed rules. We have seen Scurll deploy his trusted umbrella in competition while Delirious could incorporate some tricks of his own in the anything-goes environment of ROH Unauthorized!

so...what means relaxed rules?
Re: ROH Unauthorized Official Thread
Wacky """comedy""" and whatever Delirious does nowadays, which is not very much. It's just going to be needlessly long and competitive anyway because that'll butter Scurll up to stay, just like throwing Castle in another random trios match for whatever reason.
http://thelone.be/ => My site, which means a bunch of random stuff really.

An unpaid intern that wants to be a paid employee must be doing these write ups. There is no way on this fucking planet, unless your name is Kevin Kelly, that the match Delirious had with Jonathan Gresham has this much mileage. The match was 7 months ago! It wasn't even that good of a match by Gresham's standards. These write ups are pure shit.
Re: ROH Unauthorized Official Thread
It means that the referee won't DQ as fast as he would do in a regular match. You can use weapons, no 20-counts outside... It a stipulation that ROH has used since his firsts years. Homicide had a ton on Relaxed Rules matches.monster mafia wrote:so...what means relaxed rules?

Or the person at copy knows that Delirious takes all communication of his character very seriously. Like Thelone pointed out, he constantly works over-competitive matches at these off-kilter shows against top stars, he makes sure that he has a place in the NJPW/ROH shows, and he grossly inserts himself in the “Creating Excellence” package.Mr. Mojo Risin wrote:An unpaid intern that wants to be a paid employee must be doing these write ups. Scurll vs. Delirious will probably be a decent match because Delirious has always been a decent (and respectably safe) worker, but I loathe any of the messaging that suggests that he’s in any way a current attraction. He’s a tag worker that schleps around Cheeseburger and Ferrara, he has no kayfabe reason to be working Scurll.

Re: ROH Unauthorized Official Thread
Surely it would have been better to have Silas vs Fish here considering what happened at Supercard Of Honor. Or is the match here to create credibility going forward for their interaction at the TV tapings. If not and it's feeding off what has happened at the TV tapings that we are yet to see, this really is ass backwards booking.
Also Delirious being the mark for himself is even more gaulling, I mean really. Fine have another match on the card with Cheeseburger or someone but Marty come on, is the ability to bring someone in or create a match that hard we have to have Delirious, I really hope many of these matches change or bigger things happen because right now for what could be interesting and create something for feuds etc is just kind of bland irrespective of the name of the show.

Yeah, Scurll facing Delirious will definitely make Marty want to stick around.

That 4CS should be a lot of fun!
Re: ROH Unauthorized Official Thread
Wow, this card looks pretty good. This could be a great VOD show. However, I'm with Burning here, they should have booked Silas vs Fish. When they brawled at SCOH I was sure that they were going to face at Silas's home town in some type of hardcore match.

Boy ROH has went to shit.
This show wouldn't draw 500 people if they were giving away free hot dogs.

Re: ROH Unauthorized Official Thread
The worst part of Delirious' mug being in the Creating Excellence package is that guys who have done a hell of a lot more for the company than him are obscured by that banner. I can name about 20 in ring talents that have done more for the company than Delirious that can be featured in that than him.Wilson wrote:Or the person at copy knows that Delirious takes all communication of his character very seriously. Re: ROH Unauthorized Official Thread
It’s not like brass rings are the end-all, be-all or anything, but Delirious never even won a belt. He had one really good year out of ten or so. His being juxtaposed to CM Punk in that sizzle reel is plain carny-ism (and I tend to really shy away from that term).
Get him out of the video package *clap* Get him out of Joe Koff’s pocket *clap* Get him away from the ROH Dojo *clap* Get him off the book
