Christopher Daniels is scheduled for an appearance at the Philadelphia tapings, therefore it’s not really news that he would be there for the big show.

If Daniels really is being booked strong for the tournament in Philly, then he may cut a promo on PPV. Perhaps The Addiction will confront the winner of the Tag Team Title match.

I really hope they don't do anything. The announcers have been pushing the idea that The Addiction are sad that they have been losing a lot and thus have been left off of Final Battle, and if that's the story I'd prefer that they actually not be at Final Battle. It doesn't make kayfabe sense for ROH to fly them in if they don't have a match. Any promo they cut (and they should cut one) can be cut on the TV tapings.

For fans in GMT, Final Battle starts at 2am and not 1am like WWE PPV's. This has often caught me off guard.

I guess O'Reilly vs. Cole is now No DQ. I don't know if that improves O'Reilly's chances or hurts them.

I don't know how it affects O'Reilly's chances. I think it pretty much guarantees the Young Bucks interfering in the match and Fish and maybe some random second babyface coming out to brawl with them. It makes sense for that match to be No DQ. It makes no sense to wait and announce it on Youtube or Twitter the day before the show.

While I thought the Addiction or at least Daniels should have had some match on the show (moreso than Cody, for example), I'm not excited about that tease. I'm fine with them having a post match stand off or skirmish with someone to set up their next program, but I dislike the idea of them interfering in a match (I already see that happening in the main event) or cutting an extended promo that's going to eat into match time on this show.
