Some call it trios action. Some call it a six-man tag match. What isn't disputed is that when six combatants step inside the ring for a 3-on-3 battle, the result tends to be an action-packed spectacle.

Years before the concept became a staple in mainstream professional wrestling, ROH was one of many companies to present some of the finest trios matches in the business. With a number of hungry, motivated talents banded together in factions or just brief alliances, there was no shortage of this type of match in the company. As ROH branched out, the action only got even better thanks to involvement from Dragon Gate, Pro Wrestling NOAH, and New Japan.

ROH proudly presents a compilation (poetically a 3-disc) chronicling many of the top trios matches in company history. With 24 complete matches, most of them never before released on other compilations, there is no shortage of spectacular insanity and jaw-dropping action! A who's who of stars are included, from Bryan Danielson to Jay Lethal to the Briscoes to Michael Elgin to the Kings of Wrestling to Samoa Joe to Naomichi Marufuji. I love multi man tag matches so of course would buy it (even though I already have all of the matches as part of the individual shows). Having said that I would buy most of Supersonic's fantasy DVD releases as they usually sound pretty awesome.

There was also an excellent trios at the 14YA show this year for the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Title, Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks vs. KUSHIDA, ACH, & Matt Sydal.
