No one saw Eddie getting a title shot before Davey.

Literally, no one saw it. Because it didn't happen.

This is what I want to know. I've seen some comments saying similar to last year but probably a bit less.

Based on photos that I've seen, I'd say the crowd looks maybe 15% smaller than last year.

Good I wanna see KOR and Shibata and the main event. Fish v EVIL could be good too.

Yeah it's an interesting choice for TV, it might be just to be get a wider audience aware of Field of Honor and the different atmosphere and environment it brings. I do think it's a perfect VOD show though.

Can't remember who posted it, but somehow who was at Field of Honor posted a picture of Fujin and Raijin on Twitter.

For those that don't know, they are new guys from New Japan on an excursion in CMLL. Wouldn't be surprised to see them have a match or two in ROH.

Do you see those on Twitter? I couldn't seem to find very good shots of the crowd (I saw some, but they weren't wider shots).

ROH Field of Honor 2016 drew 1,500 according to Meltzer.

But that is significantly down from what it had been doing. If the storylines are going to be bad, I can at least hope that things are healthy for the company. Also, I'd hope that the four way title match and Kyle vs. Shibata could draw more in NYC.

I was actually encouraged by the 1,500 number. That's better than they did in 2014. Comparing to last year is apples and oranges because they ran the night before SummerSlam in Brooklyn, as opposed to the following weekend. They were up against NXT, but the overall impact of the fly-in fans for the weekend had to be a net positive.

The big mistake this year was not running FOH on Friday night of SS Weekend. NXT was locked into the Saturday night date and there was no baseball game at MCU park. They'd have gotten a much bigger crowd. They also could have made that the PPV instead of DBD (which was that same night).

Big missed opportunity, but 1,500 isn't bad. The real red flag would have been if the crowd dropped from 2014 levels.

Word is that it's not a great venue. People may have just not wanted to return. Also, Okada and Nakamura were not on the card.

Perhaps I'm remembering incorrectly, but I thought they drew like 1800-2000 in 2014 and 2000-2200 last year.

At the end of the day, the rumor is the Cyclones bring ROH in and that running the venue is cheap if not free with Cyclones getting some cut of the gate. If they come away from it making any money it's a win.

True, but that doesn't mean that it still can't be used as a measurement of fan interest in the market.

Meltzer reported 1,500 in 2014 & 2,000 in 2015...the crowd this year (from the seating chart sales the week prior to the event & pics) looked bigger than 2014 to me.
