ROH can get Ricochet or anyone else they would like to book. The only problem is that SBGI will not allow or provide the funds to book Ricochet. SBGI has the cash , just not the desire to spend it on talent.

The notion that ROH is too cheap to pay for Ricochet is pretty ridiculous in 2016, after 2 solid years of booking AJ Styles and several appearances by Alberto Del Rio and Samoa Joe.

Ricochet's LU contract is absolutely the reason.

And as many of us have discussed on here previously, Alexander is a great wrestler, however he wound up hurting guys on several occasions and inevitably didn't get over as ROH would have liked.

Ricochet still needs permission to appear from LU to work ROH, possibly because every ROH show is recorded at a minimum for DDV/VOD. If you recall, when Matt Sydal was injured in March 2015 LU supposedly gave Ricochet permission to do a pair of shows in Milwaukee & Chicago Ridge as a last-minute replacement, but ROH ended up not pulling the trigger (likely because both shows were already hyped by Samoa Joe's return & it wouldn't have been a big way to bring him in).
