Shouldn't the Bucks be Suspended?

Post by Big Red Machine »

They superkicked an announcer. Hasn't "if you touch an announcer you will be suspended" been a major part of the Whitmer-Corino angle? So why haven' the Bucks been suspended.

Because linear storylines don't exist under the book of Delirious.

A booker who paid attention to detail would notice that they are injured anyway and have it announced that they're suspended until Best in the World, which is when they're expected back. So the solution has pretty much been handed to him.

We'll see if he even bothers.

This stuff also got Ciampa fired.
Burnside's point is spot on.

Suspend after injury is bit strange.

Nigel was in commentary for the Dearborn show. Kevin Kelly asked him about it. However, Nigel said that after the attack, the Bullet Club was sellying tons of merchandising and they got a lot of feedback. "Bullet Club is best for business and what is best for business is best for ROH", he said.

And that's the reason why he didn' suspended BC. Is stupid but at least they talked about a possible suspension instead of just ignoring that other wrestlers hav been suspended.

That's beyond stupid, almost WWE-like stupid.

I don't even think WWE would book an angle like that and call the assaulting crew the good guys, or at least make excuses for them.

I'm not saying it's the best answer or credible answer ever (it's pretty shit in all honesty and It seemed rather lackluster when watching it) but wouldn't most fans agree with that.

It's a bogus answer to a myopic, desultory angle. There's no tidy way to explain what happened when given the context of prior suspensions and expulsions.

(That is unless you ask, "is Nigel actually in cahoots with the Bullet Club???~?? Is he their secret power broker?????~" Adam Cole's shirt is $35. Open your eyes, sheeple. This runs all the way to the top.)

This is the latest example of the storyline holes so big you can drive a fucking semi through. Who can actually defend this shit now? Hardliner Nigel is saying it's okay to superkick the fuck out of everyone? What a bunch of bullshit.

Let's remind people that they suspended Daniels after he beat up a referee, fired Ciampa for the same reason, and King Corino III loves to tell how "X has been fined [laughable amount of cash] for swearing or whatever".

Such a well-planned storyline...

This proves that Meltzer is pulling punches on ROH. He would bury the shit out of WWE or TNA for this.

I don't he has actually seen this show yet. I don't think he watches anything other than the PPVs.

Especially since they were going to miss the first three dates of the Road to BITW shows anyway.
