You do have to build someone for the TV Title. You have to build someone for any title.Wilson wrote:But you don’t really have to build anyone for a TV Title opportunity: Bobby Fish challenged for the belt on four consecutive PPVs, Roddy hosted his invitational to non-roster wrestlers, and, according to Kelly, practically everyone on the lower card is looking to be TV champion. I don’t buy this story.
Considering this is Roderick Strong, one of their top five workers/draws in ROH, this really is nothing of import.

Roddy lost to Fish & #1 contenders match, nothing wrong with them having him getting a few wins before challenge Fish for it.
Also
They can even have ACH beat Silas at the PPV and then doing a #1 contenders with him & Roddy for the title.

They can't possibly be going back to Fish vs Roddy for that belt. They just can't.

Oh yes they can! And Koff will continue to write notes to Delirious telling him how great he is.
Re: Official Road To "Best In The World '16" Thread
Anyway, my original point was that Roddy probably won't be engaged in very meaningful storylines until his contract status is settled. His booking the past month and his scheduled opponent at BITW strongly suggests this. It's really not even criticism (on creative, at least).

They can do a one off title defense between Fish & Roddy if they want, i don´t want another feud though.

this card is looking good brothers.
Re: Official Road To "Best In The World '16" Thread
That's six matches for Collinsville, going to guess Dalton Castle vs. Mark Briscoe, Dijak & Ferrara vs. ANX, and a Women of Honor match or two round out the card.

Am I the only one pumped to see Stevie Richards booked again?
I don't care what anyone says, Stevie was underrated in his prime and can still go.
I'd mark out for a Stevie Richards and Rhino tag team titles run. Just sayin'.

I am also a big fan of both Richards and Rhino . It would be great for the young talent to work with Stevie and Rhino. They could really help develop the next generation .

Love the desert background. Definitely captures the STL properly.

Richards has been perfectly fine in his three matches in ROH. I have no problem with him being occasionally brought in to fill out some space on a card. That being said, he hasn't done much to particularly excite me, either.

I really hope they give everything on this show the time to be as great as it can be.
Re: Official Road To "Best In The World '16" Thread
That is great news regarding Kincaid, yet there are still other pressing matters that must be addressed.

Good to see Kincaid get another chance. Mark's perfect for him too. He's solid and will get more than a good match out of him if given the time. It's also a good mesh of styles.
