Weirdly the cards for the Road To The Best In The World are making more sense and looking better than the PPV it's building to, although the cards for all are yet to be finished.
If we are seeing some guys leave I imagine we will see more guys like Kincaid come on board at these types of shows to see how they are with the crowds and who they can move on with.

If some guys leave the bright side is that others will move up the card and new guys will be used.

Agreed, You just have to make sure they have the right quality, say more Castle quality rather say Beer City Bruiser.

I have noticed this, too. These shows seem to be much better follow-up to Global Wars than the PPV card does.BurningHammer wrote:Weirdly the cards for the Road To The Best In The World are making more sense and looking overaly better than the PPV although the cards for all are yet to be finished.

Re: Official Road To "Best In The World '16" Thread
Yeah they really do, alot of it makes sense and has a strong follow on I imagine from the Toronot episodes and the other shows of the tour. I do wonder if that means we might see a major change in matches on the night of the PPV or say just before the the PPV airs. I don't why you would have what appears to be sensible and good build up from one PPV to another planned but that next PPV hasn't actually got much to do with the previous nor it's build up. This is probably my major banging head moment with ROH.Big Red Machine wrote:I have noticed this, too. Should it be alarming that Roddy is working so many meaningless multi-man matches lately?

Re: Official Road To "Best In The World '16" Thread
I don't think it should be that alarming. They are definitely putting him in situations where he will almost certainly not take the pinfall but also probably won't get the win (although I suppose it is entirely possible that he wins one or both matches). They could also be booking him in multi-man matches so that they can repeat the same type of finish they did at the PPV where he was about to win but then someone stole his pin at the last minute as a way to have him get more (kayfabe) frustrated until he snaps and attacks someone (probably Castle).Ladrao12 wrote:Should it be alarming that Roddy is working so many meaningless multi-man matches lately?

Re: Official Road To "Best In The World '16" Thread
The show in Indianapolis looked really good. I like the Main Event, Lethal/Mark Briscoe should be good, the six-man mayhem has the potential to be AWESOME, and Jay Briscoe/Moose is very interesting. I was a little surprised to see that they're doing that match here. It could be a sign that Moose is in fact leaving (getting that match with Jay Briscoe out of the way now), but that's just speculation on my part.

Re: Official Road To "Best In The World '16" Thread
West Warwick had Lio Rush & Moose vs Addiction, ACH vs Kamaitachi & Briscoes vs MCMG vs reDRagon being good/very good matches.
San Antonio i can agree even though i liked Bucks vs Cheeseburger & Delirious and MCMG vs Addiction & 6 May Mayhem were both very good matches, BJ vs Page was bad & the undercard was nothing special.

I enjoyed San Antonio bar the awful street fight, I felt West Warwick was the worst in a long, long time.Big Red Machine wrote:Neither West Warwick nor San Antonio were good.187_Joeism wrote:Yeah i think the streak of good houseshow will continue with this. Re: Official Road To "Best In The World '16" Thread
West Warwick had no bad matches, San Antonio on the other hand had a bad undercard so i can see why someone could dislike it, specially if you didn´t found Bucks vs Cheeseburger & Delirious fun.
