Wouldn't really want Rusev in ROH

Of the same opinion as everyone here on Rusev, at least not wanting him now. All the talent brought up through the developmental system have a learning curve after leaving the fed. However, I do see a chance that he can eventually be a bigger star on an independent run than in the WWE, especially if a place like New Japan takes him up as a project.

I'd plug Rusev in Silas Young's spot in a second, imo.

I HEAVILY doubt Rusev is leaving anyway. He likes to troll on social media. Likely locked up long term by both WWE and Bunim/Murray Productions. Also, his wife works there.

Yeah, more or less you're right. Young Bucks are full time with ROH. Cody will be full-time starting tomorrow (He said that he won't be taking more bookings in USA starting September).

Will Ospreay and Marty Scurll have a contract with ROH until November, the are ROH exclusive in the US, but can take indy bookings in Europe and work NJPW.

White is under contract with NJPW and it's on a excursion with ROH. Meltzer said that he's comming back to Japan soon, so I think he'll lose at DBD against Punishment and then he'll leave, just like Kamaitachi (AKA Himoru Takahashi) did last year.

Chuck Taylor hasn't got a contract yet. He worked with Trent in two TV Tapings and at the BITW PPV event.

And talking about departures, Keith Lee left in January and it's an EVOLVE guy right now.

I'd say you could call KUSHIDA a part-timer since he's the japanese wrestler that wrestling the most in ROH and since he won the TV Title he has been in every taping/PPV/VOD show.

Diesel is barely there anymore (four matches in 2017), which is for the best because he's garbage.
Coast to Coast do every other show basically (13 and 11 matches).
Same with BCB (15).

YB are full time.
Romero and Trent are very much part time.
Same with Coleman, Komatsu and Tanaka.

I have the hardest time to even consider Ospreay on the roster because he's barely there. Hell, his last match was in MAY.
Scurll is mostly full time.
White will go back to NJPW soon enough with Tanaka and Komatsu.

Observer:

As noted last week, the situation with Low Ki was that he was programmed with Alberto El Patron for the title, but when Alberto was suspended, they wanted to move him to the X Division multi-person match at Bound for Glory and he saw it as a step backwards and complained and left

Well with that scoop I say BRING HIM IN, dammit!

Thanks for the updates Alex & TheLone. I updated the thread.

With looking at the roster a couple things come to mind.

1) Fall 2017 will be an important time to renew/mod the contracts with Marty Scrull and Will Ospreay. I'd also like to see ROH and NJPW continue their talent exchange with Jay White. Seems like he's made some good progress in ROH. I really hope ROH can continue to do business with these guys.

2) The current "future stars" of the full time roster have to be Dalton Castle and Adam Page. Not a ton of depth of guys that can step up to main event.

3) Nothing new here, but losing 10-11 wrestlers in the past 18 months is a bit concerning. I know they brought in guys like Cody, Colt, Bully, FLip, Shane Taylor, Josh Woods, Chuck Taylor, White, Scrull, Ospreay, but still seems like they have some work to do to re-energize the roster. WWE eyeing guys like Rush/Dijak without much time in ROH is surprising.

I wouldn't be mad about kitamura coming to ROH. Haven't seen a ton, but from what I saw I liked.
