He actually had nineteen matches in ROH (seventeen if you don't want to count the Honor Rising shows because they were in Japan), and he actually beat both Gordon and White. Yes, Ospreay's sporadic appearances were a problem, but they still could have done some kind of story with him, even if it was just a series of matches with one guy that were mostly confined to major house shows like the NJPW shows, SCOH, and Manhattan Mayhem.AlexROH wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 4:24 amOspreay only had like 6 matches and he put over people like Taven, Lethal, Martinez, White or Gordon. It isn't a ROH problem that they signed Will to a exclusive US deal and then he moved to Australia and Japan and wasn't even in the US that much. Will is a fantastic wrestler,` but has an special personality. He said every month a different thing about where he wanted to work (EVOLVE, WWE, ROH, NJPW...).
If he would have had more dates in the US, it would have been a different story, just like ROH did with Marty. And don't tell me Delirious didn't have plans for him bc they gave him the TV Title on his debut and he was trated as a big deal.
Yes, Delirious put the TV Title on him in his debut... but he took it away two nights later. Ospreay was certainly treated like he was a big deal because he is a big deal, but just because they treated him like he was important doesn't mean that they didn't do anything with him.
