ROH Linear Champion

Post by Mike Adamle »

Someone else did this on another forum I'm on with the WWE title and it was very interesting to see how the title would bounce from promotion to promotion.

This is what the ROH Title history would be like if it were defended in every singles match it were in, including multi man matches. Per stipulation of the title, count outs and DQ's don't count as title changes. Tag Team matches don't count, mainly because I wouldn't be able to keep track of who pinned who in each match. The results are from Cagematch.net

4 month Ryota Hama reign.

Who was that troll that used to post here that said ROH needed to bring in Hama? He would've loved that.

Funny how not a single title change happened at a PWG show
I was in the front line when we battled page 15

The WWE linear Title format doesn't include Multi man matches and you have to defend the title one time in a singles match in a year. Using that same format for Ring of Honor gets things even crazier.. I did it manually in my head months ago because I was fascinated by the concept.

I can't give you the whole rundown but again using the critira that only singles matches count as a defense then I believe Eddy Steinblock, a old Dutch Wrestler is the current Linear ROH World Champion and he has been for over 8 years..

The reason that is he's been champion so long is he doesn't lose, ever and only wrestles at most 5 singles matches a year...Only way he's losing the Linear title is if he retires....in which case, the lineage would go to whoever holds the real title at the time

The linear ROH TV title as of 3/21/2016 is Hideki Suzuki the Zero 1 world champion. He's also the PWG Linear champion.

oh and Roman Reigns is the current WWE linear Champion.
