TNA management continues to be delusional

Post by supersonic »

Observer:
Even though the finances don’t sound like they are doing so well with the recent moves, they are still aggressively seeking out ROH talent whose contracts are expiring soon and trying to sign them to guaranteed deals.

"Eh, I don't know who you are and thanks, but I'll..."

"SIGN?! YOU'LL SIGN?! GREAT! DON'T BACK OUT, WE'LL DESTROY YOU LIKE WE DESTROYED THAT NOBODY JA STYLE! HERE YOU THINK YOU COULD GET THAT GUY, WHAT'S HIS NAME, JAAAY... JAAAY...?"

"Jay Lethal?!"

"NO, NO! WE FIRE HIM BEFORE! NO I MEANT JAY DIESEL! WE WANT HIM TO BE THE NEW BODYGUARD FOR MATT HARDY!"

I think it makes sense for them. They need more ROH guys, instead of washed up WWE/WCW talent. In most cases ex-wwe guys probably want to make more than current ROH guys (except the top stars). If you lead TNA's talent management, wouldn't you want ROH wrestlers?

Sure it makes sense for TNA but not for the ROH talent . Who in their right mind would give up a steady paycheck from ROH to jump on the sinking TNA ship ? To the best of my knowledge the ROH talent and vendors are all paid on time by ROH . Then you have the NJPW bookings , UK bookings , PWG bookings , the SBGI network of over 150 stations, house shows and hopefully programming on the recently purchased Tennis Channel.

TNA has a slot on a second tier cable channel , late payments , no house shows , poor cash flow , terrible booking , restrictive contracts , they not own any media platforms and have a brand that is beyond repair . Anyone would have to be brain dead to leave Sinclair Broadcasting for TNA . It would take a miracle for TNA to steal ROH talent .

So, we can realistically expect TNA to sign...

- former referee Gino
- Right Leg Ridge
- Mike Posey

and...

- they steal Tim Hughes?

After watching AJ kill it on Raw I'm so glad he dodged the TNA bullet.

No, but Caleb Seltzer could be on his way! I heard Ian Riccaboni and Joe Dombrowski were asking for too much.

I so forgot about Andy "Right Leg" Ridge. You forgot to include the horror of"Sugarfoot" what's-his-head. I mean, yikes, who thought those gimmicks would go anywhere positive?

And don't you know that Bennett wants to be to TNA what Austin was to WWE?
I am cosmetically pleasing.
