I honestly don't get all the hate for YOSHI-HASHI. Sure, he was "eh" for the longest time, but he's really turned it up in the last eighteen months. He was one of the most improved wrestlers in the world last year IMO.

Agreed. He's not Minoru Suzuki or anything but he's been really good the last few months. Interested to see what he does.

It's cool, I understand what you're getting it. Some people just don't like certain guys. I'm sure everyone has "that guy" who they just can't get interested in.

This has me seriously thinking about Best of the Best instead. Let's see how the rest of the card shakes out. I can't believe I would ever have said that. Wow.

Just saw who they've got announced so far, but weren't they the ones who got shortchanged when people started moving shows around between Friday & Saturday (since the HOF & TakeOver switched dates)? Isn't CZW going up against TakeOver & Mercury Rising?

Am I the only person that is tired of ROH booking Jushin Thunder Liger? I don't think having him on the card as a benefit. He's old and he cannot have great matches.

I know his match with Silas wasn't hot but fans love him though and works relatively cheap

And that's why they keep bringing him in. He's an attraction if there ever was an attraction. People will come over-and-over again no matter how old or active he is, just to see him. Bringing Liger in is always a smart piece of business, especially Mania Weekend.

It's not that I bought tickets to see him specifically because I bought them before anyone was advertised. I view it more as ROH spoiling me. My goodness what other show that weekend besides Mania is going to have a true wrestling legend (Taker and using the term a little bit loosely Goldberg) in a match?

Yeah, but Hulk Hogan is Hulk Hogan. ROH has a budget and with their New Japan deal, long existing relationship with Liger which has seen him appear on dozens of ROH shows at this point and his reputation in wrestling for having been such an innovative lightheavyweight which appeals more to an ROH fanbase than say a Hulk Hogan would, it makes more sense to bring in someone like Liger because Liger will sell tickets and comes at a knock down price. He also has said he loves working in America because they go nuts for him.

Liger is definitely cool to see once, just to say you did. At this point, after that, meh..filler, nothing more.

I do think Liger has somewhat run his course now, considering how many times ROH has used and been able to use him, but saying people will still want to see him and even it that brings it another few hundred it will probably be worth.

I hope there will be a few more CMLL additions and some very strong NJPW names, plus maybe one or two big indy names to even it all out.
