OMFG if Suzuki would be willing to put Kyle over this would be amazing. Hell, I'd even take Sakuraba or Nagata vs. Kyle.monster mafia wrote:i wish they can book some special guy like suzuki or ibushi for this show.

Re: Supercard of Honor XI - Lakeland/Orlando, FL
I'd like to think they'll change this to a PPV. I think it would benefit them to provide a live showcase during a weekend where all eyes are on the wrestling world, try to have a show stealing match like Davey/Elgin from Showdown in the Sun (or whatever it was called) and make sure that at the end of the weekend when people are talking about WrestleMania and all that jazz, their also talking about Ring of Honor.
Re: Supercard of Honor XI - Lakeland/Orlando, FL
No way they make this a PPV. An iPPV, maybe, but that's just too much for that weekend, especially with the price of ROH PPV's

Re: Supercard of Honor XI - Lakeland/Orlando, FL
Wouldn't making it a traditional PPV (or maybe even an iPPV) be an issue because of the Hardys' TNA contracts?
Re: Supercard of Honor XI - Lakeland/Orlando, FL
I believe their contracts are up in March, and I'm sure they'll re-sign, but I would imagine they'll negotiate something like this in their new contracts.Big Red Machine wrote:Wouldn't making it a traditional PPV (or maybe even an iPPV) be an issue because of the Hardys' TNA contracts?
Even if not, Anthem, who are their new owners, own the Fight Network in Canada. You know what airs on the Fight Network in Canada? ROH. So it'll be interesting to see if new contracts allow them to help out other companies on their channel, which I would hope it does.

This shows are not important like they use to be, i hope for a good card/show but nothing more, any special attraction will be welcome. I´m 100% sure Hardys/Bucks is their own idea (Young Bucks have creative control on their new contract).

Premium broadcast is a bad idea unless moved to Friday night.

Once they announce Hardys vs Bucks + the appearence of Naito, Okada, & Tanahashi (if they are coming), im sure ticket sales will boost. This could be the most stacked line up of talent for a ROH Mania Weekend show since the Dragon Gate 6 Man Tag days.DXvsNWO1994 wrote:@willh94 11m11 minutes ago

I think this is a pretty reasonable number comparative to the level of promotion done, the timing (still just over 3 months away), and the Hardy/Bucks match not officially announced, yet.Adem wrote:Once they announce Hardys vs Bucks + the appearence of Naito, Okada, & Tanahashi (if they are coming), im sure ticket sales will boost. Re: Supercard of Honor XI - Lakeland/Orlando, FL
I think considering the time frame, where the event is situated as well as the fact that no match has actually been signed yet I would say that it's an somewhat reasonable to see those numbers. Of course I'm sure ROH would want to sell straight away but ROH just isn't there yet and I don't know if it will ever get back there, but I imagine ROH will eventually sell out like they usually do in these circumstances.

Imagine 2 years ago saying the WK9 double main event could plausibly be slotted against each other on WrestleMania weekend in North America.

Re: Supercard of Honor XI - Lakeland/Orlando, FL
I think that there with be a large UK presence on Supercard of Honor XI . Rev Pro will be running in Orlando on Friday . So if REV Pro is part of the NJPW/ CMLL/ ROH partnership their talent most likely will be booked for the ROH show.
The question is how many UK talents will be making the trip. Also I think they will be multiple CMLL talents booked for Lakeland. Dragon Lee should be being his brother and a couple of more friends.
I look for only 3 to 4 NJPW talents , not including the America based NJPW talent.
I do wonder how many wrestlers will be booked for the show ? 36 to 40 guys ? Don't know . However if ROH does present a true blockbuster show there should be a lot of money in the back end of the deal with DVD / VOD sales

Re: Supercard of Honor XI - Lakeland/Orlando, FL
Regardless, all interesting problems to have. It seems ROH is actually trying to gain early buzz for this weekend and not treat it like an afterthought. Kenny Omega needs to get his shit together and get his visa issues resolved. His appearance for this show could really push this card into the stratosphere.Memphis Mark wrote:I think that there with be a large UK presence on Supercard of Honor XI .
