Dave Meltzer said on WOR today that the match between The Young Bucks & The Hardys will be taking place on this show, so there's your first match.

I never would have thought Jeff Hardy would ever make a return to ROH after that Will O Wisp shitshow.

We live in a world in which people were stoked for a Goldberg vs. Lesnar rematch a dozen years after they stunk up MSG, so not too surprising. Time heals all wounds and Jeff has honestly been awesome (with one very glaring exception in 2011) for the past decade.

Let's be honest, not only do people change but in this case you're talking a whole new leadership group.

Man that was an all-time shot show though.

The video tells nearly the whole story, but it helps to know that Jeff Hardy was released from the WWE due to irresponsible behavior and drug abuse only a few months before this show. This performance as well as the Victory Road controversy have really diminished Jeff's importance to the eyes of many, which is probably a shame when one considers the majority of good performances he's had in the past twenty years.

I'm guessing that could have been taken at the Deletion taping. Notice the Bucks have no Bullet Club material on anything....

I'm pretty sure this was from a show in Argentina or something.

The pic is from Fatal Destiny, a show from Hugo Savinovich's promoción in Chile, Wrestling Superstar.

Bucks were in a triangle ladder match against Hardys for the Tag Titles.

The feeling I got when I first watched the DBD match many years ago is that the crowd went into it wanting sh*t on Jeff, but Jeff's performance definitely post-facto justified the reaction he got.

Yeah, IIRC, he got booed out of the building as soon as he entered it
I was in the front line when we battled page 15

A case of the crowd not grasping the proper dynamics of booing a wrestler. They gave it their all at the start, so they couldn't up the shitting on him when he got progressively worse as the night wore on. They forgot to pace themselves so it became flat and semi-uniform rather than being memorably " Yeah, whatever. Let's see how this goes. Oh for chrissakes. Did he really just...'What the fuck are you doing to us you piece of shit!"

Now, the crowd that was forced to endure 'The Night of Dragon Soldier B' they got it right. ;)

In other words the Dragon Soldier B crowd had better psychology.
