Official Winter Warriors Tour 2016 (Live Events) Thread
Re: Official Winter Warriors Tour 2016 (Live Events) Thread
Bucks both had solid outings in BOSJ this year. A couple of the most competent workers on the roster right now. You guys can complain but the roster is super thin, so there's not really much better guys for those matches. It's a smaller less important show, so who cares. I'd rather see some singles than big tag matches all the time where guys just hit their spots. Those matches could both be good. Buncha whining and complaining in here. Go watch the BOSJ shows with the Bucks on them instead of whining.

I've been told Cole vs. Shelley was quite average and based on the layout/result, keep expectations low.

I did hear that Roddy vs. Curry Man & The Eight-Man Tag were pretty good, though.supersonic wrote:I've been told Cole vs. Shelley was quite average and based on the layout/result, keep expectations low.

The Tim Hughes/Michael Elgin match was very entertaining. Elgin kept throwing Hughes into the barricades for like 3 minutes straight, having the crowd cheer for their side getting hit. Later on Hughes tried getting Elgin up for one of those side slams Kane does, but was struggling and kept him in the middle of it, and the crowd started counting like it was one of Elgin's stalling suplexes.
Solo Darling/Kelly Klein was pretty fun. Solo wore a squirrel tail. She was much smaller than Klein as well, so she dominated it. There was tail-based offense as well.
Keith Lee and Shane Taylor were in the pre-show match, winning against Curt Stallion and I can't remember his partner.

Anybody here doing the Asheville show on Friday? The matches that are announced should be damn good.

Better than nothing I suppose. A shame I won't be able to attend but I should be able to go see his very last indy appearance against Corey Hollis in Canton, GA Feb 5th.

I don't think this will be your last chance, honestly. I doubt he retires with the WWE.

Plan on it unless something comes up.GardenStateSaint wrote:Anybody here doing the Asheville show on Friday? The matches that are announced should be damn good.

I'm hoping they haven't scrapped The Briscoes/Sydal & Shelley match from Asheville, as it was absent from the lineup they posted when announcing the final five matches for the show. Hopefully just an error on their part.

It's the ROH website, of course it's an error. There probably would've been a bigger chance of that match being scrapped if they hadn't forgotten t mention it.
