Re: Official Reload Tour 2015 Thread
Looking at twitter it seems like Cole vs Roddy, ACH vs Sydal, Defy or Deny and Bucks vs reDRagon were good/very good.
Re: Official Reload Tour 2015 Thread
O'Reilly vs Young was also pretty good.

Will Ferrara vs Bobby Fish is also getting good praise from people that went to the show, it seems like it was a good card all around looking foward to the VOD.

reDRagon vs Bucks No rules and now no Compton. This weekend just keeps getting better!
He wasn't announced for a match in Chicago, so I wonder if they'll just scrap whatever they had planned or bring in a local guy?

Re: Official Reload Tour 2015 Thread
They didn´t announce a match for him, only the preshow signing so i don´t think they will have to change anything on the show.
There is Hakeem Zain who is working most of the dark matches recently, if a spot opens i think it goes to him or Ferrara.

Re: Official Reload Tour 2015 Thread
Father Time was awesome... best pre-show match i can remember. Fish/Ferrera was OK. A semi-scary botch in the middle. Moose/Sampson was surprisingly good. Silas vs. O Reily was solid. Roddy was Cole was Awesome...probably match of the night. Briscoe vs. Wantanabe was alright. ACH was Sydal was really good. That will be a great series. The 4 way was good. I was surprised the fans were more into Dalton than Mark Briscoe... but Dalton impressed me first time live. The place went nuts when Red Dragon came out at the end. It was Mayhem in the main event, but didn't last real long. THe Main event was awesome too, but felt like it should have had another 5-10 minutes. To be fair, Red Dragon did do double duty.
I had my doubts about the show, but ROH pulls off another great show. Always fun. Only complaint, was that the ROH store didn't have Conquest Minnesota, so now i'm one show short for 2015. (If anyone has that and looking to sell PM me)

I know there are a few people from the Voices of Wrestling website who are going to be at the show in Chicago Ridge tonight, so they might be doing live tweeting (in case anyone is wondering where to find results from the show).

Review from Chicago Ridge:
Really fun show. Nothing seemed blow away/match of the year, but everything was solid to very good. There were some changes to the card throughout, as has been becoming the norm for house shows, but I didn't think it affected the overall show too much. Looked to be about 1000 attendance. I'm super pumped for the NJPW announcement. It'll be interesting to see if it's just 1 night, 2 nights, or split with Milwaukee. I'm guessing no Dearborn since that wasn't announced Friday.
Paco & Danny Adams vs Hakeem Zain & Jimmy *????* Standard pre-show match
Kingdom vs Nameless Jobbers Quick squash with both jobbers taking spike piledrivers, one on the floor. Kingdom promo where they called Cole out and said he had to decide whose side he was on. reDRagon out to back Cole. Then the Young Bucks out with superkicks for the Kingdom. Faceoff between the Bucks and Futureshock/Fish
Bruiser vs Castle Real fun match with the contrast of characters. Silas out with BCB to be in his corner. Nice to see that alliance. Impressive bridging suplex from Castle to Bruiser. Dalton Castle is super over. After match Silas assaults The Boys.
Mark Briscoe vs Adam Page- No match. Whitmer gets on the mic. After literally 5-10 minutes of the crowd shouting him down whenever he started to talk he finally gets out that Adam Page threw out his shoulder last night and can't wrestle. Page comes out with a sling but sneaks a low blow on Mark. Jay comes out and chases him off. Then for absolutely no reason Romantic Touch saunters on out and the Briscoes put him through a table.
Elgin vs Watanabe Wow, this overdelivered. Good strong style match between these two, and they thankfully didn't overdo some of the strong style spots that often irritate me. Started out a little slow but really picked up into an awesome bout down the final stretch. Elgin got a much better reaction compared to pre-G1. Watanabe has really improved considerably during his excursion, and it sounds like he'll be returning to Japan soon.
Fish vs Strong Good match as you would expect from these two. For some reason it felt like it just didn't click quite enough to take it to the next level, although there was technically nothing wrong with what they did. Nevertheless, a good contest with some cool moments. I especially popped for the double leg lock spot.
Young vs Ferrara vs Cheeseburger vs Walker Pretty standard 4CS match. Samson Walker needs to be used more frequently. I'm not that familiar with his work but he looks to be solid in the ring and his facial expressions are as good or better than pretty much anyone else on the roster. I don't want to dislike Cheeseburger, but I really don't enjoy watching him wrestle.
Alexander vs Jay Briscoe This was your average Jay Briscoe singles match. Nothing that special. Unfortunately Cedric's heel character means his offense is less entertaining than it used to be. Cedric pulls out the wrench and Stokely Hathaway jumps in to grab it away and gets taken out by Cedric.
The refs/security attend to Hathaway and escort Cedric out. Then a few minutes after the action is completely over Moose decides to come out and proceeds to angrily shove away the refs that are helping Hathaway and won't let anyone else near as he helps him to the back thus furthering the "Moose may be mentally handicapped" theory. Cedric jumps out of the crowd and knocks out Moose to set up an injury for later in the night.
ACH vs Sydal Another good but not great match. I definitely felt that they were holding back here, but with three more matches to go that's expected and understandable. A lot of Sydal's mannerisms are becoming annoying to me.
Lethal vs Moose Okay, this was disjointed and didn't make any sense. First the HoT comes out and announces that Moose is in back still surrounded by medical staff who will not clear him to wrestle because he got knocked out by Cedric earlier, so Lethal's issuing an open challenge to anyone else in the locker room. Then Moose just walks out anyways, limping and selling his leg after what was clearly a head attack/concussion angle. He and Lethal start brawling on the floor, while refs try to separate them, then they end up in the ring and just start wrestling a normal match. Huh? I usually find Moose slow and boring, but when he's selling a concussion most of the match it's even worse.
Future Shock vs Young Bucks Really great main event and excellent way to top off what was a fun show! Not quite at the level of RD vs YB but pretty dang close. All the usual Young Bucks antics and offense that we love, and Futureshock is gelling well despite a couple years of not teaming regularly. Action packed throughout the whole match with some great sequences. After the match the Kingdom comes out for a staredown between all three teams.

You get heat on Lethal/Alexander when everyone think the match won't happen.
They weren't afraid to change the match between Moose and Jay Briscoe so it wouldn't have been impossible.
When the crowd really believe it, you have Moose who comes out to wrestle anyway.
He lost but he doesn't look bad because he was injured.
It seems like it was very well booked in my opinion.
There was a reason, you have to watch the latest Jay Briscoe's promo on YouTube.Northwoods_Nightmare wrote: Mark Briscoe vs Adam Page- No match. Whitmer gets on the mic. Yea I'm kinda surprised that was Kevin Kelly's big announcement and I'm hyped about it. Chicago Ridge just seem like an odd place to have it due to its smaller size. I would assume that Milwaukee will be apart of it too due to a venue like Turner Hall so hopefully its there too at least one of the nights. Either way I'm going.Northwoods_Nightmare wrote:Review from Chicago Ridge:

I saw a lot of people that were on the show complaining that Moose vs Lethal wasn´t happening so the booking was perfect, Delirious worked them good

Yeah. The more I think about it though, it's not that much different than Philly or Toronto probably. There's definitely room for a few more rows of chairs on the edges and corners. And if they are able to swing getting multiple sets of high rise bleachers, on every side rather than just one, I bet they could push close to 2000. When you think about it, there's still quite a bit of unused space in that fieldhouse.damasta414 wrote:Yea I'm kinda surprised that was Kevin Kelly's big announcement and I'm hyped about it.
