I figured Gracia would be signed to AEW. They should really lock her up if possible.

Who else thinks “Summer 2021” will end up being late August?
Re: Women of Honor Thread
I always figured August was target. BITW then a few weeks of aftermath and then the ladies start up.NewROHFan2020 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 03, 2021 9:52 am Who else thinks “Summer 2021” will end up being late August?

I’ve learned that the ROH Board of Directors is planning to give a ticket to gold to another veteran competitor who, like Allysin Kay, will not have to wrestle a “tryout” match to participate in the ROH Women’s World Title Tournament this summer.
The woman in question has competed in ROH in the past and has been a champion elsewhere.

Please be Mickie James. She wrestled 10 matches in ROH from 2002-2003 as Alexis Laree, going 7-3 overall.Chrisvegas27 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 11:01 am I’ve learned that the ROH Board of Directors is planning to give a ticket to gold to another veteran competitor who, like Allysin Kay, will not have to wrestle a “tryout” match to participate in the ROH Women’s World Title Tournament this summer.

That is a possibility I hadn't considered. I don't know how much she has left in the tank but she's a legend and I'd love to see her get a shot. I know her AEW deal expired.Chrisvegas27 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 11:08 amcould it be awesome kongfamicommander wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 11:05 amPlease be Mickie James. Well I guess that depends on what their standards are for "champion elsewhere"Chrisvegas27 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 11:13 amWho else is a possibility that a availablefamicommander wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 11:11 amThat is a possibility I hadn't considered. Does that mean just WWE? Impact? CMLL and/or AAA? The big Joshi promotions? Indies?
Former Knockouts Champions who have wrestled in ROH before and are not currently signed to WWE, AEW, or Impact:
Awesome Kong
Mickie James
Katarina Waters (Winter, Katie Lea Burchill)
Madison Rayne (says she's retired)
Maria Kanellis (obviously not her)
Allysin Kay (already confirmed)
WWE has too many women's titles for me to bother checking.

If it's mickie james can they legally announce her for the tournament since her 90 day complete clause not up until mid Julyfamicommander wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 11:22 amWell I guess that depends on what their standards are for "champion elsewhere"Chrisvegas27 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 11:13 amWho else is a possibility that a availablefamicommander wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 11:11 am

Re: Women of Honor Thread
I hope it's Mickie James. Did Chelsea Green ever wrestle a match or two in ROH?

Re: Women of Honor Thread
No. Chelsea Green was indies, Impact, STARDOM, MLW, Lucha Underground, and WWE. Never ROH.
I'm thinking it's Katarina. She was supposed to be in the last tournament and I'm not sure if they'd be allowed to announce Mickie James yet considering her non-compete.
Re: Women of Honor Thread
Didn’t awesome kong say she was going to retire/ back into retirement?
Mickie seems mostly likely based on the note/timing… but could be one of the other names.

Re: Women of Honor Thread
Is it possible because that trash bag incident with Mickie James allowed her to get out of her 90 day no compete clause with wwe which will allow her to be in the tournament because she just showed up for nwa

Isn't ODB back in Impact or was that just temporary?
