Yeah the stuff from the Global Wars: Night 2 TV Tapings starts airing this weekend, and this weekend's episode will be the first to air on Destination America next week.Burnside wrote:I'm sure than means Global Wars Night 2 (i.e. the TV taping).187_Joeism wrote:@DeathToAllMarks · 3 min Hace 3 minutos

Which pretty much means Global Wars, Night 2, as that was filmed for TV.

Ok, I don't know shit about how American TV works and this doesn't change when I'll be able to watch the episodes. I just want to know if this equals more money for ROH to spend on production value and better commentators.

It almost certainly does equal more money yes.
Re: Breaking News: ROH on Destination America
Best guess - probably it will mean at least some more money on production value, but the same shitty commentators.Marketh. wrote:Ok, I don't know shit about how American TV works and this doesn't change when I'll be able to watch the episodes. Re: Breaking News: ROH on Destination America
I really hope they add some type of pretape to the show cause any new viewer will be confused at who is who and why they should care about watching RoH.

Great news for ROH and generating a buzz. Can only mean positive things for the company.

Re: Breaking News: ROH on Destination America
According to PWInsider.com, TNA has cancelled all interviews with talent that were scheduled today – we were one of the websites asked to speak with Rockstar Spud this afternoon, unfortunately that will not be happening – and instead TNA has scheduled a conference call with talents at 3PM.
It’s expected that Dixie Carter and/or other top TNA officials will address the roster as to the recent Destination America acquisition of Ring of Honor broadcasting rights, and what that means going forward for both sides. As we previously reported, TNA talent were not informed ahead of time that the network was talking to ROH and their parent company, Sinclair, and this morning’s announcement took everyone backstage by surprise.

The "TNA Brigade" is out in full force today. Either it's an attack on TNA, an elaborate work or TNA has purchased ROH or anything in between.
Jesus christ, just enjoy the wrestling.

Re: Breaking News: ROH on Destination America
Remember a few days ago when the news of Impact being cancelled came out, and the big reason was that DA didn't think that wrestling was viable, despite the numbers? Turns out that was bullshit.
This feels like some Karma, as an ROH fan, in some ways. I mean, how much talent has TNA stolen over the years? Well, we stole your television deal.
