I think they are important because of recent events, but I don’t think EVERY company and EVERY person NEEDS to chime in. ROH doesn’t mention when random cops, military, and regular people die. Those two people were just regular people. Their names are only known because of the situation.AnHonorableMention wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 8:53 pmNewROHFan2020 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 7:29 pm Why do we need to have every company and every person mention this damn thing? Nobody watches ROH for their stance on any political issue. We come to ROH for wrestling, like we go to CNN, FoxNews, and MSNBC for news. Would their followers want a stance on a random death of a pro wrestler?
“MSNBC dedicates tonight’s program to Silver King”
Nobody wants politics 24/7 and it doesn’t mean a thing if everyone is doing it.
If you think the murder of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and every one else is not important enough to be given proper respects than you’re no better than the racist photo op mark with the orange skin. It means everything if everyone is doing it because we’re all outraged by police brutality and being put into a police state because the idiot in the White House is trying to start a civil war. Fuck!
I don’t want politics and news in my wrestling or real sports. Once everyone does it, you get criticized anyway for not being first. I haven’t seen Shane Taylor or Kenny King badmouth ROH’s handling of the situation. So if they’re okay with it, then so am I. We don’t need politics stuffed down our throat 24/7.
