From that quote, the question goes from if he’s staying to how long? The “whatever he does the next months isn’t permanent” sounds like he’ll take ROHs big money short term while he can cause he knows the AEW money ain’t going anywhere

Exactly. At this point from a fiscal standpoint even with ROH drawing lower numbers than ever, AEW is his family and those guys will make room for their family. Loyalty is royalty.

From everything I've seen so far, nothing about Marty's relationship with ROH seems more than a handshake agreement (barring AnHonorableMention's account of them bartering a huge deal for Marty). It looks like he's trying to gain momentum for himself while he's kind of just been sitting in ROH for the back half of the year.

In 2017, ROH bent over backwards to offer contracts to the Young Bucks and Cody, which up to that point were their largest offers ever. 2017, creatively, was a miserable year to watch. It completely broke me as a fan. In 2019, they signed all these fantastic free agents and did an almost impossible feat in booking Madison Square Garden, and it's still been a miserable year in terms of booking and resource prioritization. Sinclair's throttle on the checkbooks isn't the thing that's holding ROH back or pushing them forward.

idk but it seems like they are wrestling singles matches in the last couples of shows..i would like to see them with a push in the 2020, pair them with gabby ortiz or somehting..

I said from the moment Rush signed that C2C should be with Rush, Dragon Lee, and Kenny King. The latter three are together, throw C2C in there with them too. C2C and Kenny King would be a cool trio.

I saw that too. I hope he stays. He is really solid upper mid card guy that can have good matches with anyone. Plus i wanna see him tag with Haskins vs Jay/Gresham.
