It's about the pop, not your mat skills. Andre? Hogan? Luger? Sandman? Dreamer? Goldberg? Foley? Dean Malenko was better wrestlingwise than all of them combined, but never got near any of their heights. Lio is the flavor of the month. Does he have the staying power? Maybe, if he can keep from getting injured which the flippy style is more vulnerable than most (Andrew Everret, anyone?) He might be the next Ricochet, or he might be the next John Walters (seriously, he was a 'blue chipper' everyone thought would be the next big thing.

That's the problem: Do we really need an Andre, Hoga, Sandman or Luger in a company that prides itself on presenting the best wrestling? I don't think so, in my opinion he should be put into the low undercard or released all together, he doesn't bring anything to the table wrestling wise and that's the point where I stop caring about him or his character.

John Walter was supposed to be "the next big thing"? where the fuck did that come from? Ive seen more Walters matches than anyone when he was hot on the New England indy scene back in the day but i dont remember hardly any ROH fans falling in love with the guy.
