I sincerely hope that they announce that they are bringing . . .
harajuku/cosplay girls with them

it would truly be a supershow if they had . . .
a pack of futuristic steampunk girls, okada's dinosaur, and a ninja slicing up some evil samurais
It's not easy being the Greatest 7th generation wrestler Of All Time!

If they'd have every title defended once, they could do 2 title matches every night. Don't think they'll have a lot of titles defended twice, but it's possible they'd do that for a few titles, maybe first give a NJPW wrestler shot at a certain title, and then another night an ROH guy gets a shot. You might get up to 3 title matches a night on average that way, and maybe even more on a single night, if they'll once again do one or two shows with NJPW vs. NJPW and ROH vs. ROH
I was in the front line when we battled page 15

I think we'll get at least one title match for each of the IWGP Titles.

ROH are such trolls loll. Seriously announcing 1 star. just 1 ! maaaaannnn they announced plenty taking part of that field of honor show. I'm sooooo dying to know the lineup for those Toronto shows it's not even funny anymore. But well 1 is better than none... I guess.

I wonder if he'll work hard this time around. IIRC he was pretty beat up for last one, and didn't have the best opponent (although there was about twenty people on this board who were internet yelling at me that Bennett was an awesome opponent for him because he's a great storyteller because he works a slower pace, because working a slower pace automatically makes you a better storyteller, and suddenly when the match was crap they all went very quiet).

I, for one, don't believe we'll have to worry about there being a rematch.

I think Bennett vs Tanahashi was fine solid match, it got Bennett a place with NJPW.

It was almost universally panned for being pretty awful. Bennett got a job with New Japan because of Maria, and more specifically Maria's as (as can be seen from the camera angles in every shot with them in). If Maria happened to be the valet of Will Ferrara he'd probably be booked over at New Japan instead.

People like to trash everything, i mean they wanted to see ACH vs Tana if i don´t remember it wrong so... I don´t say that the match was great or anything but Tanahashi was injured at the time and Bennett was one of the safest matches they could book for him.

I enjoyed the Bennett/Tanahashi match last yr. Maria played a good role.

regardless, great announcement to start the New Japan/ROH build

Bennett/Tanahashi was good. I had it at *** and I think that was more or less the consensus rating for it. Nobody expected - or at least nobody should have expected - Tanahashi to work a NJPW PPV main event quality match on that show. He actually did more than I expected. The High Fly Flow from the turnbuckle to Bennett on the floor was to me being there live one of the more memorable moments on the show.

Maybe I'm misremembering then, because I seem to remember everybody having it closer to the ** mark and it getting panned heavily. But I'll never understand the people who were saying Bennett was the perfect opponent for Tana because he's such a great storyteller,

I think I had it around the *** mark as well, either *** or ***1/4. I thought it was fine for what it was. For me, it was the 7th best match on the show.

Tanahashi vs Cole HAS to happen at one of these shows, I was so disappointed last year when they wasted Tana against Bennett.
