On this weeks episode of ROH Wrestling a really weird vignette played showing a shadow or shilouette of a hooded figure standing in-front of clips that looked like they were recorded on a phone or something talking about how "we are coming and we will bring change". Interestingly enough this aired right after an advertisement for CHIKARA. Yes, ROH advertised CHIKARA, IDK why but they did, they also did it on their social media accounts last week.

Is this potentially a reboot of the CHIKARA vs. ROH feud from a couple of years ago that had potential but never really showed it? Or a totally unrelated group? It's interesting nevertheless, so speculation may begin.

If this is another ROH vs CHIKARA i don´t know if i like it or not, they have worse roster now than in the other invasion angle.

It will not happen, but base on El Patron and Court Bauer working with both could this be some type of Lucha Underground invasion?

I think that airing that promo just after the CHIKARA one doesn´t mean anything, just for making everybody think that is someone or somebodies from CHIKARA.

I don´t really know who they are, but it would be awesome seeing a Lucha Underground vs ROH storyline!

Whoever was in that promo did seem to be wearing some kind of mask, from what I could tell. If that's the case, I don't think anyone saying that this is something involving CHIKARA or Lucha Underground would be far off.

Honestly, I'm intrigued by any of the possibilities but probably would rather not see an "ROH vs Rival company" invasion type angle. More like a new stable of outsiders but not ones that are trying to "destroy" or "take over" ROH.

I'm kind of disappointed that we didn't get more of an Eddie Kingston singles run. When he's motivated, he can be a great singles wrestler. I don't think he needed to be in the Tag Team Division.

Just seems too obvious for it not to be a Chikara invasion. The advertisement during the commercial, masked men, both shows are running the 2300 Arena this weekend, and Chikara doesn't have shows on days that ROH does. Would be a good program to end at Supercard since everybody will be in town because of the weekend.

I'd strongly disagree with that, as Chikara has never seemed less trendy than in the past couple years. I'd be shocked for very many to actually care, whereas LU gets its fair share of coverage, has excellent production, and already has a match that is being generally considered as a classic. Factor in the star power of Ricochet, Morrison, and Del Rio, and it could really elevate both brands.

I'm against invasion angles overall though. Nothing is going to touch ROH vs. CZW and UWFI vs. NJPW. It's a tired concept that far more often than not serves as nothing more than a desperate band-aid to get one side trending.
