I think both Alexander & Lethal losing makes a bit more sense when you consider that we're now getting Alexander vs. Lethal on tonight's show in Toledo.

I actually had Page picked to win that match. I think the Cedric Alexander experiment is pretty much over.

I can see Hanson getting a TV title shot against Lethal or Evans in Baltimore due to beating Lethal here. If not Baltimore then Nashville.

At this point, I can see Hanson vs. Lethal (vs. Evans ?) for the title at FB with Hanson winning and maybe Evans eating the pin.

I am almost certain that was only done to set up Lethal vs Cedric at Night 2 (and give Page a shot at Strong in the finals). Cedric is still THE breakout performer of 2014 in ROH.

I thought Cedric had a breakout year so far. He's put on some really good-Great matches with Elgin, Styles, Lethal, Daniels, Kyle O'reilly, and Adam Cole this year specifically. His feud with Strong was a little underwhelming to me but those matches were pretty much all good. I think 2015 he'll start picking up some wins and the TV Title and then see where he goes in 2016.

The finals looks really cool. Happy Hanson had a breakout performance. I think Adam Cole takes this.

ya i agree with Mr Orange and JigsawvsJason. I don't think ROH has given up on Cedric by any means

They're not giving up on him after a year-long push, but Delirious obviously wants this guy to be a much bigger deal than he actually is right now. It's not a bad thing to ease up a bit before people start to resent him.

That Elgin match was the drizzling shits.

Cedric blows every third spot, has no cardio, and can't talk. Page is considerably better.

Really it was over when they did the angle where the Decade injured him to take him out of the Okada match, and then he did his big fired-up babyface run-in at War of the Worlds and the crowd didn't give a fuck or even really know who he was.

The first Elgin match wasn't shit. Second one wasn't good at all though. Also the problem with the New York crowds is if you've never really wrestled in NYC before, most of the crowd doesn't care because half of them don't follow the product. Cedric missed a lot of NYC shows since he's been in ROH.

I think Cedric has improved a lot since earlier this year. His matches with Daniels and Cole recently were really great.

Yeah I don't see Cedric's "push" being over at all. It definitely seems like ROH is really behind him as a potential (key word) top star in the future. I'm guessing he'll get his win back over Lethal tonight (since it'll be non-title). As far as Adam Page goes, I'm guessing he was put into the Finals to...
Spoiler: show
help build up his match with Roderick Strong at Final Battle.

i read that ach/taven and briscoes/adiction were reallly great matches..

so... cole vs briscoe for final battle...great match, maybe a conclussion for a long time feud.

ciampa vs elgin: they need to have a good match, its the "wm" of roh.
