Re: KEVIN STEEN APPEARS TO BE WWE BOUND
only question is will Roddy be gone too? I heard he had a good try out as well. and judging by Roddy's place on the two new japan/roh show's , i'd say he could be gone too

Remains to be seen if he is signed or when he will report considering he just tweeted this:
@FightSteenFight
Just watched #WarOfTheWorlds...I guess I still have work left to do in @ringofhonor after all. I'll see you real soon, Silas.

Steen's contract is set to expire end of July so no surprise he's working the best in the world ppv

I hope he gets signed, i will miss him on the indies but he deserves the money he will get.
Re: KEVIN STEEN APPEARS TO BE WWE BOUND
WWE has given me enough faith recently to have me believe they'll keep his personality intact but the name issue is still 50/50.

What I heard is that Kevin Steen & Willie Mack will be offered contracts (apparently Mack hasn't officially signed yet). They will be passing on ACH & Rocky Romero, so those two won't be signed, but I haven't seen any updates on Roderick Strong's status.
Steen will be missed dearly but he 100% deserves it.

Re: KEVIN STEEN APPEARS TO BE WWE BOUND
I spoke to somebody backstage at the Hammerstein show and was told Steen's last date with ROH is the June PPV, which presumably will be the Silas Young match.
Re: KEVIN STEEN APPEARS TO BE WWE BOUND
It would be pretty insane to think that the WWE is signing Steen & Mack over ACH, Strong and Romero, given the obvious appearances. Steen is one my favorite wrestlers, and if he's gone, then congrats. I still need a more official confirmation first, though.

^ Triple post!
Bray Wyatt is one example, and he seems like the exception, not the rule.

Kevin Steen keeping his name the same is a very small detail to me in him finding success in NXT.JTCole wrote:WWE has given me enough faith recently to have me believe they'll keep his personality intact but the name issue is still 50/50.
Tomato cans don't stand a chance.
Re: KEVIN STEEN APPEARS TO BE WWE BOUND
I just hope he picks a good name. I know the company let's them have input on that.

is the money he deserves the $500(you can adjust for inflation) a week AJ turned down back in '02? id say its more like the opportunity in a few years to possibly earn 6 figures.

As Chris Hero has put it, "WWE doesn't pay you thousands to work in developmental, it pays you good money so that you can go on to make millions on the main roster", WWE gives you a chance to do it, but no guarantees.dark patriot wrote:is the money he deserves the $500(you can adjust for inflation) a week AJ turned down back in '02? id say its more like the opportunity in a few years to possibly earn 6 figures.
I'm happy for Kev. Hes done it all in ROH. It'll be sad to see him go but like when Bryan left, what more can he do?

It actually makes sense, since they apparently don't want to sign many cruiserweights for a while.Ladrao12 wrote:It would be pretty insane to think that the WWE is signing Steen & Mack over ACH, Strong and Romero, given the obvious appearances. I'll wait to get my hopes up until it's confirmed that he actually signed a deal, and not just doing a couple dates like the American Wolves. It sounds like he'll be around at least through BITW.
I do really hope that he signs. As much as I love seeing him on the indys, I'd love to see what he could do in NXT/WWE.

I would love to see him in WWE and he absolutely deserves the opportunity. He's had an amazing run in ROH and he will go down as one of the best guys in the history of the company.

I look forward to Steen in the WWE system. A WWE deal is significant motivation for him to get in better physical condition, resulting in even better matches.

Hence why Drake Younger is now working for WWE as a referee.Northwoods_Nightmare wrote: It actually makes sense, since they apparently don't want to sign many cruiserweights for a while.
